Good sugar-free option for kids
We use Lifeable products in our home and find them to be delicious, so I was excited for having the opportunity to try these magnesium citrate gummies. Especially because magnesium citrate is known to be important to support proper body function. The texture of these gummies makes it evident that there is indeed mineral powder in each gummy. The texture is a little gritty, but I don’t mind. The taste is a little unusual, but the flavor is definitely strawberry. If you eat them cold, they taste like soap. At room temperature the flavor is much better. These gummies are sugar-free, but they don’t taste bad or have the aftertaste of sugar substitutes. My children will eat them without much complaint. The amount of magnesium in a serving is pretty small, so keep that in mind as you consider purchase amount and dosing for each person.Overall, I would recommend these gummies as a solid sugar-free option, and the brand is good quality.

Tasty Gummies That Make Daily Magnesium Easy
These magnesium citrate gummies are a nice, easy way to add magnesium to a daily routine. The flavor is pleasant and not overly sweet, which can sometimes be an issue with gummy supplements. They’re easy to chew and have a good texture.I also appreciate that they’re sugar-free and made with a vegan, non-GMO formula, which makes them a good option for families trying to be mindful about ingredients.Gummy supplements are often much easier to remember to take than pills, especially for kids, and these make it simple to add magnesium as part of a daily regimen. These are tasty, convenient, and a worthwhile supplement to consider adding to your routine.

Great taste!
Great taste! I wanted to try these with my 7 year old to help him focus better in school, and get good quality sleep. I love that they are sugar free and this brand is my GO TO for any vitamin supplement as they are not only tasty, but also very affordable. Not sure how much effect they have had, but I have noticed that he doesn’t seem as tired in the mornings before school. My son compares the taste to a fruit snack and has no issues taking them daily!

Kids like them, but they do have a vitamin taste
My kids like these magnesium citrate gummies and have been willing to take them without complaining. The ones we received were purple, not red like the main product photo shows, so that is worth noting if color matters to you.I tried one myself so I could get a better idea of the taste and texture. They are a little powdery, and I can taste a bit of that vitamin/supplement flavor. It is not terrible, but it is noticeable. My kids did not seem bothered by it, though, and they actually like them.I cannot say whether they make a noticeable difference because that is hard to judge with a supplement, especially with kids. What I can say is that they are easy for my kids to take, the flavor is good enough for them, and the bottle size is convenient. We have tried several Lifeable kids products so far, and this one has been consistent with the brand.Overall, these are good gummies if your kids are okay with a slight vitamin taste and a somewhat powdery texture. I took one star off mainly for that, but my kids like them and will keep taking them.

Not the best taste, but good ingredients
Lifeable Magnesium Citrate Gummies Sugar Free for Kids (60 Count) is a supplement from Lifeable, designed specifically for children. It provides magnesium citrate in a chewable gummy form to support muscle and nerve function, along with potential benefits like promoting calm, reducing stress, aiding relaxation, improving sleep quality, relieving constipation, easing growing pains or leg cramps, and supporting overall wellness (e.g., headaches, anxiety, or energy levels in some user experiences).Key Product FeaturesSugar-free version (uses alternatives to sugar, avoiding added sugars or high-fructose corn syrup; the brand emphasizes no artificial sweeteners in many formulations.Vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and made with pectin (plant-based) instead of gelatin.Flavor profile — Marketed as great-tasting fruity/raspberry or berry/natural fruit flavor. Many parents report kids enjoy it (“kids love it,” “great taste,” “my child begs for them”), and it’s often compared favorably to sugared versions with a smooth, pleasant chew.60 count bottle — Typically 1–2 gummies per serving depending on age/need (dosage varies; consult a pediatrician, but common servings provide around 85–170 mg elemental magnesium from citrate form, which is well-absorbed).Aimed at kids (suitable for ages 2+ or 4+ in related products), but some adults use them too.Pros:Effectiveness — Positive reports include helping with constipation (“a Godsend,” better than medicines), calming/anxiety reduction, better sleep/relaxation, reduced headaches/migraines, fewer leg cramps/growing pains, and overall energy/mood support. Some note it works subtly without grogginess.Allergen-friendly — Free of common allergens like peanuts, soy, gluten, dairy; appreciated by parents with allergic kids.Clean ingredients — Vegan, no synthetic dyes, non-GMO — aligns with health-conscious preferences.Taste nuances — While widely described as pleasant and fruity, some users (including your input) note it tastes a little like perfume (or floral/chemical/perfumy) rather than a straightforward delicious gummy. This may stem from the natural flavoring, sugar alternatives, or the inherent profile of magnesium citrate in sugar-free formulations. A minority mention an aftertaste or “weird” note, though most adapt or find it tolerable/likeable overall.Texture — Magnesium citrate inherently has a slightly gritty feel (common across brands), noted by some as noticeable, though many say it’s fine.Overall, this remains a well-regarded option in the kids’ magnesium gummy category, especially for those seeking a sugar-free, tasty, vegan alternative to pills. It’s frequently recommended for muscle/nerve support, calm, and digestive help, with strong parent satisfaction on results and ease of use. The perfume-like taste note is a valid personal observation that isn’t universal but worth considering if flavor sensitivity is a factor—some prefer it over other brands, while others find it less “candy-like.”

Better than the alternatives
If you’re looking at these then you know the general options out there. I have a kiddo who needs to take magnesium to prevent migraines so it’s important to me that we don’t miss any.But I cannot tell you how many little stashes of magnesium tablets I’ve found hidden under the microwave, on the floor behind the radiator, etc etc. I’m really clear that I want to know if there’s an issue so we can try something different, but it ends up that way anyway. These are an improvement over everything else we’ve tried. I already know this brand is reliable, so that’s the most important part to me. But my child is willing to eat them without any issues. I’ve not found a single hidden stash or even lone uneaten chew.My child says the texture isn’t weird, it’s similar to other gummy vitamins. The flavor is “okay” but they’d prefer having different flavors in the same bottle to choose from. It doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste, so that’s good.I’m switching over to these permanently.
