They have a pleasant herbal smell, mostly from the turmeric, I think. The recommended dosage is 1 cap per day on an empty stomach at night time. The bottle claims to contain 90 caps, so of course, I counted them. Yup, there’s 90 caps in there.This product is manufactured in India, but no worries. It is the most thoroughly certified nutritional supplement I have seen. The biggies are ISO 22000 certified, GMP certified FDA registered facility, Outside Lab tested. and several more. I have recently begun taking these licorice capsules by TenMid for some stomach cramps and bloating. They have helped me by calming down my digestive system and reducing the uncomfortable symptoms of my overactive stomach. In addition to licorice, the capsules also contain Turmeric Ginger, Fenugreek, and Haritake Black Pepper. Each bottle contains 90 capsules, enough for three months. It is recommended to take these on an empty stomach, perhaps first thing in the morning or at bedtime. I have even found them to be helpful after eating a big meal. I like this product because it has helped me to better control my digestive issues by providing my stomach lining with a protective coating. And at the same time I am doing my best to help by avoiding overly spicy and greasy foods. These capsules are manufactured in India in a GMP, ISO-certified facility. I am a fan of Tumeric, and Ginger, the other ingredients are noted for their indications in different area’s however most noted to help in digestion. I felt that perhaps these would give me a more rested feel after large meals and so have tried them and felt that they mite have a positive effect on the digestion process. While I guess many of these pills do work to an extent it is more of a feeling then something I can quantify. They do not seem to cause negatives such as taste or burp problems and the ingredients are touted as great natural remedies in many cultures and societies. I was most interested in the Licorice and Turmeric and in that regard and combination this checks those boxes. It is something that one has to try and see if it is of benefit vs. a generic this works great item

I tried this on the strength of my love for black licorice. I don’t eat licorice that often and I know it can negatively or positivity affect the body. Just depends on the person’s situation. I didnt expect it to taste like licorice and these pills don’t have much of a taste at all. That said, it wasn’t distasteful when I took them. I will say that any herb extract is subjective as to how it affects you. This pill has many other added ingredients and not just limited to licorice. I personally stopped taking it because somethng was giving me headaches and I narrowed it down to this. Of course, I do have other medications that I regularly take and I can’t say for sure if an interaction is what caused my headaches, but the headaches stopped after I stopped taking this supplement. For me, it doesn’t taste bad, but it has too many other additives that may or may not be the best options. So I believe that I am being generous by giving it 3 stars.

This has a lot of desirable ingredients but something in it may have disagreed with me and caused nausea that got worse until I stopped taking it. I’m not completely sure this product was the cause because I also quit some other supplements I was taking at the same time. I’m not sure if I will try this again without the other supplements or not but may and will update my review if so.
