Great for my feet
It is great for my tingling sensation in my feet; my docotor approved it. It is also an anti-oxidant, so I appreciate that. I spend the extra money on the R-fraction because it really does work better than the racemic alpha lipoic acid mixture. This company (KRK Supplements) sells it at a very good price.

poor quality
When ALA is fresh, it looks very light yellow. When it oxidizes, from age or heat or exposure, it turns darker. I have ordered this product from this manufacturer, and the first time, the capsules looked exactly right (I have been using for over 10 years, from a variety of manufacterer’s). With my latest purchase, however, the capsules were a significantly darker yellow, suggesting the likelihood of poor quality control.

Drug and pain free finally
As part of my treatment for neuropathy pain, R-ALA is a very vital compoment to reduce the main level. I was for years on all diiferent kind of oain medication, from Morhine to percocet, but this was much better for me. Combined with other high dosis of vitamins I am no longer taking any pain meds for this condition.

Great for my peripheral neuropathy
excellent product! I am using this product as my sole treatment for peripheral neuropathy that I have had for approx. 12 yrs. It is working as well as if not better than the prescription medication of Lamictal and Topomax I was on for years. I suffer no side effects with the R- ALA like I did on the Rx medication. I find the product to be of extraordinary benefit to me. Wish I had known about R-ALA years ago!
