Excellent Calcium Supplement
I like to take a calcium supplement to make sure my body is getting the calcium it needs. This product is third party certified by NSF International’s NSF Certified for Sport program. This program certifies that what is on the label is in the package and that the product does not contain unsafe levels of contaminants, prohibited substances or masking agents. That reassures me that I am getting a quality, reliable product. In addition, a clinical study by the National Institutes of Health found that calcium citrate is better absorbed than calcium carbonate by approximately 22% to 27%, so I feel confident that I am getting the calcium boost my teeth and bones need.

Clean Pure Calcium Citrate
Calcium is an essential mineral that supports health & bone density. In clinical study calcium citrate was shown to be more beneficial to the bones than calcium carbonate. This supplement is easy to swallow and important especially as time goes on and there is a risk of bone loss that can lead to osteoporosis.I find this to be a good supplement, though it is less potency than I am used to, I understand there is a new trend as far as calcium intake that less might be more.This is a pure product that is GMO & Gluten free and does not contain wheat, artificial coloring or sweeteners. This product is 3rd party certified by “NSF International’s NSF Certified for Sport program.” This is useful to guide coaches, athletes & trainers to make informed decisions in their choice of sports supplements. Though I would not claim to be an athlete in that type of arena I do make sure to exercise often and I feel confident taking this calcium will help me reach my peak level.

Just plain calcium
I use a daily calcium supplement because of osteoporosis. Usually I take Citracal in the morning, which also has some vitamin D (I need that too), zinc, copper, and manganese. But Citracal alone isn’t sufficient to get me to my targeted daily calcium intake, so I need to add more. I can take this supplement later in the day, and it doesn’t have any additional vitamin D (I don’t need more D because I’ve already reached the daily dosage that my doctor recommended). These are moderate size but easily swallowed ¾ inch long capsules filled with white powder. The expiration date on the label is just over 2 years from the date I received it.

Overall: Recommended! Great product for supporting improved immune function in our opinion the bottle packaging is fine and the safety seals are doing the job. Nice that it is independently tested and that it has good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification. We like to check with our care practitioner before starting a new supplement and this calcium one seemed fine : ) Cheers!

I like that this fulfills its promise of not upsetting the stomach. One star missing because I found a capsule that’s not secure, and its powder contents were all over inside the bottle. Not great.Another thing to consider — women (ages 19-50) need to take 2 caps 3x a day, for a total of 900mg. Recommended daily Calcium requirement is 1200mg however. So if I factor in my multivitamins (180 mg Ca from Members Mark), then I barely reach my daily dosage. Need to supply with natural food like milk and veggies to fulfill that daily Ca requirement.Hope this review helps, thanks for coming to my ted talk
