    [ TL;DR ]They can be fun, but take care that little ones spit out the ‘skin’. The Amazon page lists “no artificial flavors” but the ingredient panel on the bottle includes artificial flavor and artificial sweeteners.[ Pros ]+ The burstlet format is a fun alternative to pills or capsules for littles who can’t/won’t swallow them.+ Taste is good, which can also help kiddos take them.+ 133mg DHA per serving is a reasonable daily dose for the target age group.[ Cons ]- The full ingredient panel is not listed on the Amazon page. The bottle’s “Other Ingredients” include hydrogenated vegetable oil, sucralose, artificial color, and artificial flavor. This needs to be made clear ahead of time for the families that need to avoid those.[ Neutral ]* Suggested use is 1 to 2 burstlets daily. At 30 per bottle (3 bottles per pack), that comes to a 45- to 90-day supply per child.* The burstlets can be eaten, but really it seems like it’s meant to be chewed and spit out. Could be a choking hazard for the real little ones. Make sure to use the ‘twist and pour’ method for them.* Taste is subjective, but I liked them. The flavor is sweet and fairly intense, so your milage may vary.* I didn’t notice any change in our families focus or energy levels, but we were already taking something similar, so it’s at least on par with that.* Value for money is decent and similar to other kid-specific omega-3 products.

    Large but taste good, great source of DHA

    These Kids Smart Hi DHA Omega-3 burstlets are a unique way to get kiddos their daily dose of omega-3s, especially DHA when they don’t like to eat fish or oysters regularly. They come in dirigible-shaped gelatin burstlets that are edible and chewy. The gelatin capsule is not very tasty, but it’s not foul tasting, either. However, the capsule is very large and I wouldn’t give it to a small child because it’d be a choke hazard. I’d follow the suggest to tear off the end and squeeze the supplements into the kiddo’s mouth. The “juice” inside is very sweet, but tastes good and not fishy like adult fish oil capsules can taste.Overall, I think the supplement is effective, but it’s hard to tell in the short term. As far as mood is concerned, I don’t have a kiddo with ADHD, so I’m not sure if these work for that or not. This order came in a 3-pack with 30 servings in each bottle. At the current price, it’s a decent value for the money.

    Not perfect, but usable.

    It was supposed to be a 3 pack, but I received only one bottle. It has plastic taste if you chew it, bit it’s easier if you just squeeze it out. My son likes the flavor, but not the capsule shell. One of the ingredients – sucralose – is not very healthy. It’s easier to take than the traditional fish supplements because it doesn’t have the fish taste. Well packaged, made in Australia.

    Great product for kids! The fruit flavor is amazing, the texture is easy to chew, and the quality seems excellent. It’s a simple way to add omega-3 to my son Daily routine. Highly recommend!

    Melted into one sticky clump

    All three bottles of these arrived melted in one sticky ball. I had to throw them all away. My kids were really looking forward to these omega 3 vitamins. They smell great and had a vibrant orange color. Unfortunately they melted and we were unable to use them. As far as the ingredients go, I don’t like that there are natural flavors but it’s hard to find true fish oil vitamins for kids that do not taste awful so I was willing to forgo the natural flavors in the ingredient list. Since they were melted, I am unable to give my thoughts on their effectiveness, ease of use, and side effects. These were quite expensive so it’s a bummer they didn’t work out.
