Chemical Taste and Hard‑to‑Chew Capsules
I really wanted these to work for my kids, but the capsule format was the first big hurdle. Both of my children were confused by the texture, and honestly, so was I — chewable capsules just feel odd, especially for a children’s supplement. The flavor didn’t help either. It’s labeled as orange, but none of us could taste anything close to citrus; it was overwhelmingly chemical‑tasting and pretty unpleasant.Between the strange format and the off‑putting flavor, this just wasn’t a good fit for our household. I wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience.

Horrible Flavor and Unchewable Capsules
I usually try kids’ supplements myself before giving them to my children, and I made the mistake of not doing that with these…let me emphasize, that was a huge mistake. The flavor is absolutely abhorrent, and the aftertaste is even worse. On top of that, the capsule is completely unchewable. I tried chewing it myself repeatedly, and it never broke down, which makes me seriously question whether it even dissolves properly if a child swallows it.The instructions specifically say not to swallow the pill whole, leaving children with no option but to bite into it. Considering the horrible taste, awful texture, and lingering aftertaste, this supplement is simply not suitable for kids. I have stopped giving it to my children and strongly do not recommend it to other parents.

This is actually my third time ordering it, which already tells you it’s working well for my child. He genuinely likes taking it, and I’ve noticed more consistent focus during homework time. I understand supplements aren’t instant fixes, but the gradual improvement is noticeable. My child mentioned he liked it because of it’s natural flavor, and the chewable soft gels are easy for him to chew or swallow—no complaints, no struggle. This also gives me peace of mind knowing it supports brain development and eye health, especially during the school years. For families whose kids refuse traditional fish oil, I see this as a really solid alternative. The supplement does not smell funny or feel sticky, making it a massive win for us.

flavor and texture are not the best
This is a bottle of brain DHA containing 60 chewable soft gelatin capsules. They are orange flavored. My kids did not like the taste of this and the texture was a bit weird and difficult to chew. This is third party tested which I do appreciate. The ingredients do not contain artificial flavors or sugar. This is a higher priced than some of the other options on the market. While this may be effective my kids refused to take these.

They are chewable and, in my experience, TASTE GREAT. The only slightly tricky part was piercing the gel without the liquid squirting out—it took a little practice. The outer gel is somewhat thick, so it takes a bit of chewing, but I actually found it enjoyable, almost like a treat. Terrible aftertaste
The capsules look similar to gel caps. When you bite them, the liquid center bursts into your mouth. They have an absolutely terrible fake citrus aftertaste that lingers for hours and also made me burp up the taste up for hours. Also, although the liquid center squirts out and dissolves in your mouth, the gel skin is very chewy and unpalatable. I had to spit it out. As an adult, I wouldn’t take these. I can’t imagine any kid taking them more than once. I don’t think this is a quality product. I won’t take them a second time. The taste and smell are awful.

Product arrived in a sealed plastic bottle containing 60 chewable capsules. Recomended daily dose is 2 capsules per day yeilding a 30 day supply.Pros: Quality product manufactured in Austrailia. No synthetic colors, artificial sweetners, no sugar, gluten, egg or dairy products. Not manufactured with any nut products. Product lists a contact phone number for questions. Has a mild orange scent.Cons: On the pricey side compared to other similiar products. The capsules are soft but tough to chew. The flavor has a bitterness to it like it was made from a concentrated orange oil. Once opened, it is recomended to refridgerate and use within 90 days.
