Not a sleep aide for me, but still GREAT product!
I have had kava hand prepared as a drink before and the taste is really not pleasing so of course it’s going to be hard to mask that with candies. The sunny flavor is like a lemon ginger that does a pretty good job considering the circumstances. The moon mint flavor is a better taste in my opinion, but both are completely tolerable. Only the pickiest people will have an issue with it.I’d like to add that taking too much will have a reverse effect on sleep. In fact, I can’t fall asleep at all if I take a whole one before bed because of the buzz. But, it’s not an anxious buzz. It’s a very calming happy effect that will make you more content with everything. If you have bad anxiety don’t take too much or you’ll risk a bad stomach ache when coming down from the euphoria. As other ppl have said, you do need to take at least two to get any feeling the first time. Then you can continue to take two for a few days and eventually you won’t need two anymore. The reverse tolerance will make you more sensitive to it, so try to take one after a few days to get the same effect. I can actually take halves now and I feel good. I usually take it for anxiety especially in college, when I feel anxious thoughts or nervous fidgeting starting, I take one and within 15 minutes, the anxiety melts away. And it doesn’t alter your judgment or cognition at all. You’ll just be a calmer happier you.It does make my eyes more sensitive to light. Kava effects can last about 3 hours. I appreciate that they use noble kava which has been known to be less taxing on the liver. Great product!

a great way to take a kava
Let’s get the taste out of the way up front: it’s awful. But no kava product tastes good. These are somewhat better than the taste of traditional kava tea. Personally, I break them down with my teeth so they melt in my mouth faster. But honestly, if they didn’t taste bad, it would be suspicious. Kava tastes terrible. There’s no avoiding it. The lemon flavor takes the edge off, but that’s it.Taste aside, these are a great way to have a little kava. Taken in the afternoon they provide a mild lift. Before bed and they’ll help you get a really deep, restful sleep. I also suffer from an anxiety disorder, and they are helpful to just mellow out a bit, particularly before social situations. They’re a great little mood boost that you can take anywhere with you.

Taste absolutely disgusting
I have been a kava user/drinker for a couple years. I’m used to the taste of kava tea, mints, candy, micronized and regular kava etc. But these mints taste AWFUL. Nothing masks the taste. The effect is there, it numbs your tongue etc. So it’s a good product but yuck! Please make it more lemony.

Calms the crazy & that’s a tall order!
First & foremost, these are NASTY AF! Like, NASTY-NASTY! I take two of these at a time when I’m having uncontrollable anger or anxiety. I chew them, because it gets in the bloodstream faster. I have to psych myself up to swallow. But., THEY ARE AMAZING!! They work, just as they claim. Yes, I am a real person. No, this is not part of a promotion, nor did they pay me anything. As much as I really can’t stand the taste, to the point that I shutter when I do swallow! I can’t say it enough, NASTY AF!! I even told my herbal store owner that he needed to start selling these.So the feeling that I do achieve, is numbness of the mouth and then it feels like it just washes over me from top to bottom. Honest to God, it’s like I can feel the calm running through me.

I taste that woody Kava Kava in this and it numbs your tongue a little, this is a real Kava Kava.
Kava Kava is made out of the root of the Kava Kava plant. The root part is not the most prolific part of any plant and therefore they can not lower the price of Kava product. Kava Kava lower the stress hormone-cortisol level and hence give you the relaxing effect that we are looking to get. I have to take at least two mints to get that Kava effect. I am meaning to use this mints as needed instead of daily bases.

As I reported to an Amazon agent, I only received one of the lemon Kava containers. I received the mint container of Kava, one of the lemon, along with two lip glosses, I’m just asking for my one container of lemon Kava chill pills to be replaced. I got an email. I don’t want to be blacklisted, because I paid for a couple products that I didn’t receive one of the delivery pictures shows the sidewalk of our townhouses. It could be any one of the 112 homes in this neighborhood. I want to continue to use Amazon so I just left alone, but I’m honestly very upset about it. If I report anything missing, it’s the absolute truth. So, your please send out my one container that was missing in my order of the lemon Kava. I only gave it a one star because I got a possibly blacklisted email which I do not deserve and I’m missing one out of the three Kava. The product itself I would definitely give a strong 3.5-4 stars!! The chill pills, do chill you out and are not at all sedating or even expensive. They are nicely priced. Now, if I could just get my one missing container sent out to me. I could change it to a five star rating. Amazon, please do your part and send one missing container of the lemon kava.
