Seems to work well, but requires 7 or 8 tablets at one time to get the desired effect. Works best with when combined with L-cysteine.

Beware! Two tabs per serving, for the same price as before when it was one!

Buyer beware! Kal has joined the ranks of apparently unscrupulous supplement manufacturers, who reduce the dosage of their tabs, but don’t advertise it directly on the front label. Their 1000 mg Kal sustained release tablets used to contain 1000mg per tab. Now they contain 500 mg per tab. You need to take two to get the 1000 mg dose. And yet the bottle states it is 1000 mg on the front (per “dose” – but you need to read the small print!). Why not be honest and say the dose is 500mg?What’s worse, the heading on Amazon says they are 1000mg tablets. They are NOT! They are 500mg tablets. Yes, they USED to be 1000mg, but they aren’t now!No problem, you might think. I’ll take two. Except the price has not been cut accordingly. Actually, if anything the price per bottle has gone up! Good for their profits, perhaps, but not for us. It more than doubles the cost to the consumer. This was a good product in the past, but can we trust a company what engages in these shenanigans? Shame on them!
