Strong bitter flavour…
I ordered this thinking that it would be less bitter than it is. We take ginseng for the health benefits, usually the Chinese variety. For some reason, this one is much more bitter than that. We have ordered other Korean ginseng products at a similar price and they are typically more flavourful like the Chinese ones.These are nicely packages and they might make a nice gift for an Asian friend or someone that likes ginseng. I am rating these four stars as they seem to have the same benefits as other ginseng products, though the bitterness is an acquired taste. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary…

Taste terrible. Burned coffee taste. Did feel energetic first few times took it. But it gave me a very bad headache after 3 rd time taking it. Had to stop

This is Definitely Premium Ginseng !
I take Ginseng for it’s possible health improvements and for it’s energy boost . I had never tried Red Ginseng and wanted to see if there was a difference. And after trying that is a definite Yes ! I have been using black ginseng and noticed energy with it that I liked. This Red Ginseng for me is much more energy boosting ! I think this would make an excellent gift to a special and important person or guest. Especially someone who knows a thing or two about Ginseng. IMO the box itself is a statement of luxury. I am very impressed with how well they packaged this. I looks very professional and expensive ! It definitely conveys the message this is no ordinary Ginseng and there is something special about this.When I first tried it, I could tell a very noticeable difference in my energy level especially during a high intensity exercise session I did. Now this is very very bitter. I actually had trouble getting it down. I had to eat fruit right after to get the bitter taste out of my mouth. So I definitely recommend mixing it in your drink or eating it with something. I also really like Ginseng for it’s possible health benefits. I feel with this premium red kind I am getting the best possible health benefits it may provide. This is definitely top shelf and everything about it is first class IMO. Hope this was helpful !

High quality Korean Red Ginseng.
This ginseng is absolutely fantastic. Red ginseng refers to the age of the plant – it’s from roots that are at least six years old. It’s packaged as a liquid extract in single serving tubes, with three boxes of ten tubes inside of the outer box. The packaging is beautiful, and points to the quality.The flavor is bitter and as I’d expect from ginseng extract. It might be too much for some. Each stick contains 3g of extract. If you’ve never taken ginseng before, it’s best to start with a lower dose before kicking up to a full dose. It’s also good to cycle it on/off instead of taking it continuously, as some people can become immune to its effects.Though expensive, it’s worth every penny. I’d absolutely buy it again, though perhaps direct from the source’s site, where it’s a bit less expensive.

Good energy boost!
This is my first time trying ginseng. I found the flavor to be strong but with interesting earthy overtones (sort of like mushrooms). Each day the flavor grew on me. It is easy to use, just clip the top and drink it down. I found I had more energy on the days I took this supplement, especially in the late afternoon when I often feel like I am fading. I tested this by alternating days and there was definitely a difference. The packaging is very classy, I feel like I am pampering myself when I open it up.
