L-glutamine is helpful both for workout recovery and for general digestive health and stress relief. It’s recommended to take it first thing in the morning or right after a workout before anything else so that it will be best. Absorbed.These gummies taste great and are very easy to tolerate, both taste-wise and stomach-wise. It’s quite easy to find glutamine supplements much less expensive in powder form, but that’s true of most supplements. For me, I don’t mind swallowing pills or mixing powder into water when I’m at home, but the convenience of these gummies should not be underestimated for having on the go during a long run or ride (>100 minutes, more to keep digestion working properly), or right after a workout when the timing is right to aid in recovery.The other added amino acids are a bonus, and while most people ingest plenty of those generally, they are again quite helpful on those really long workout days, and/ or can be essential for people on meat/dairy-free diets.These are a staple for me on big days.
