Not What I Expected
It’s nice if you want a mixture (it makes the Vitamin E Oil pour nicely) but it’s not good if you wanted pure (obviously this isn’t because they show the ingredients and mention the blend of oils) or mostly pure Vitamin E Oil. I was disappointed when I started pouring this. I thought it would be more Vitamin E with only minimal cutting by the additives (oils) to help with the pouring. The viscosity was more like sweet almond oil which pours nicely but is about half the thickness of Vitamin E Oil. For reference Vitamin E Oil normally has a viscosity like slightly chilled honey, Sweet Almond Oil pours just a tad slower than Olive Oil, and I was expecting something in between, like syrup. I planned to use this in my hair but it’s too “liquidy” and doesn’t cling to my hair like the synthetic Vitamin E Oil that I was replacing.Amazon also sells the 4oz for half the price of this 2oz bottle, so this is not particularly a good deal.The price of the 2oz bottle is comparable to the price of synthetic Vitamin E Oil.I also wish they specified the version of Tocopheryl Acetate they use since my synthetic Vitamin E Oil is listed as 100% Tocopheryl Acetate.

Jason 45,000 IU – Intense Moisture!!
Jason Vitamin E 45,000 IU is AMAZING!! I will start by saying that this is a thicker, heavier oil consistency. If you are looking for a light, very quickly absorbed Vit E oil then you will likely want to try their 5,000 IU version. However, if you are looking for intense moisture and don’t mind a slightly oil texture then this is the oil for you! It spreads easy for a thicker oil. A little trick I use is to have a little water splashed on my face before applying (Or I use it just after washing my face in the shower with still damp skin). The water allows the oil to spread quicker and more even while also locking in the actual moisture of the water into your skin as well. This works wonders! I have not tried this as a scar healer or on my body so I can’t speak for these aspects. I have used many of Jason’s products over the years and they are always made with quality and care. If you apply this to your skin over a bruse or scratches healing is remarkable. Helps to moisturize as well.

It’s scentless, thick, absorbent and mixes well with other oils and lotions. I’ve been using this on my pregnant belly, letting set for a little while then putting a cream on top and I love it. I plan on using it postpartum as well.

Much thicker than the 5000 UI
Since I add this oil to my foundation, it was a lot harder to use since it is a lot more viscous (thicker consistency) than the 5,000 UI concentration. But I managed.

This vitamin E has made ALL the difference in my skin! It is sticky for several minutes after applying but dries quick enough. My skin is more radiant an blemishes fade more quickly when used.
