Kicked a chronic yeast infection!

Instead of trying to murder your yeast with antifungals, why not just send it packing with probiotics? I had a really stubborn infection for almost four months. I was tested for everything–diabetes, low iron, thyroid problems, etc. But I am healthy and there was no obvious medical reason for my infection; my doctor just kept asking if I was stressed out? She wanted to prescribe 7 months of Gynazole-1. The list of things I’d already tried was very, very long. From OTC yeast creams to natural supplements to prescription creams and Diflucan, nothing had driven the yeast into submission. I had already tried Culturelle, which is supposedly one of the best probiotics. Don’t get me wrong, Culturelle is great—for your gut. I’ve since learned that the reason it wasn’t helpful in my situation, was because acidophilus GG doesn’t colonize the vaginal/urinary tract, only the intestines. I wish I had heard about Femdophilus in the first place. It really does have the proper probiotic strains to rebalance vaginal flora. I have been taking it both orally and inserting it vaginally–maybe that’s TMI, but it just made sense to me to put the bacteria where it belongs instead of swallowing it and waiting for it to eventually find its way there. The relief was almost immediate, and after several days, things just kept getting better and better. I plan on staying on this one long term. I was browsing the Jarrow website, and saw in the FAQ’s that for yeast they also recommend another probiotic called Saccharomyces boulardii. It is a beneficial yeast that will colonize your gut and make it harder for candida yeast to thrive. I figured it couldn’t hurt to try, since it’s inexpensive and the bottle contains a 90 day supply. Plus, like other probiotics, studies have shown that it boosts your immunity. I can’t wait to give it a try. Incidentally, if there is a silver lining in all of this, it’s that taking all kinds of probiotics, even the ones that didn’t help my yeast infection, really does seem to have helped my immunity; I haven’t been sick, even when my children were. Forget trying wacky diets or boiling your underwear to get rid of yeast!

If you have ever suffered from a YI, BV, or a general “off” feeling, you seriously need this amazing stuff. AMAZING! Cured me of chronic yeast infections!

This magic pill is the only thing that really worked to rid me of chronic yeast infections due to long-term antibiotic use. I tried everything, from anti-fungals to kefir to Diflucan and NOTHING worked perfectly. Sure, the kefir worked moderately well IF I drank it every day. Sure, the Diflucan worked for a few days, until the yeast came back with a vengeance. Topical anti-fungals did NOT work at all, although they did add a nice burning element to the already-itchy hell I was living.Fem Dophilus, which did NOT arrive cold but which I refrigerated after opening, worked almost immediately. I took one orally, inserted one up my vag, and by the next day, my symptoms had almost vanished entirely. I’ve been on it two weeks (1 pill orally per day), have had sex multiple times during those two weeks with no issues, and my vag still feels great. I’ve had better cervical mucus on it too, which makes sense, since I’m not overrun by yeast anymore.This product is amazing. AMAZING. For those suffering, let me assure you, it is worth every penny and then some. Also, organic, PLAIN Greek yogurt works better as a topical treatment than any anti-fungal you can buy. It’s cheaper, wonderfully cooling, and works instantly to alleviate the itch and burn. It’s not practical for use during the day, however, so I recommend taking a Fem Dophilus capsule as soon as you get them, and then slathering your vag in plain Greek yogurt right before bed. Year long yeast infection GONE

Ive had an on going yeast infection for almost a year now. My infection was caused by candida glabrata, which is the strain of yeast that is resistant to almost all yeast infection medication. I didn’t have normal symptoms of a yeast infection either, it was constant milky white thin discharge that had a very sour taste and unbearable pain after intercourse. I tried gentian violet, sugar free diet, every over the counter medication, countless diflucan, tea tree oil, garlic, boric acid capsules, i can go on forever. I’ve spent countless hours researching cures and money on doctor visits. I finally ordered these to try them out from all the reviews.How I cured my nonstop infection:I know you need to kill off yeast first so the healthy bacteria can have a chance to really grow and get your vaginal ph and flora back to normal. I had 4 left over diflucan, which didn’t kill my yeast infection completely in the past but I noticed it does make it stop while its in my system, so I took one every 3 days. While I did this I also inserted a boric acid capsule I made mixed with one capsule of the fem dophilis probiotics ( size 00 gel capsules) every night and every day I was taking a probiotic pill by mouth morning and night, ate a sugar free diet for the two weeks I was doing all this. I also maintained good hygiene as usual, and slept bottomless and drank lots of kefir. This might be overkill for some people, and I havent found any research on taking diflucan and boric acid at the same time, but I was desperate and just went full force and I’m pretty sure my infection is finally gone.It’s been almost 2 weeks now and I haven’t had any weird discharge and that is a miracle for me. This past weekend I went on a 3 day hike where I was in dirty sweaty moist clothes and was having intercourse and I’m still normal even after that. For maintenance I will continue to take 2 pills a day till I feel confident to cut down to one and will probably keep doing a boric acid pill mixed with probiotics once a week for the next few months. I’m so thankful for this product though, it finally fixed the root cause of my recurrent yeast infection.I wrote all this because I hope it helps someone, I was going mentally insane dealing with this and the relief when it’s over makes you almost want to cry in joy.

Very niche review

Took these specifically (in hopes) of clearing my group b strep before delivery. Didn’t work but after a month or so of these I felt I noticed a bit of digestive change so I’ll continue with them! Also very small and easy to ingest.
