Excellent Supplement
Iron biglycinate with Vitamin C is a very bioavailable form of iron. Taking this for 1.5 months has improved my iron on my labs. It is gentle on the stomach and has not caused me to become constipated. Vitamin C is important for the absorption of iron. ********Also, never consume calcium from supplements or food such as milk, cheese, calcium-fortified orange juice, canned fish, dark green leafy vegetables, etc. within 2 hours of taking an iron supplement. Calcium will greatly diminish iron absorption.******** This supplement also includes important minerals. Just don’t count on the form of B-12 it includes. Methyl B12 is superior to Cyan B12. Methylcobalamin is found naturally in food like fish, meat, eggs, and dairy. Cyanocobalamin is man-made and does not occur in nature.

Great combination iron supplement, if a little pricey
I ordered this supplement in late June 2026 and took the entire bottle before the date of this review in early September.This is a well-formulated combination supplement that’s mostly focused on iron. The marketing leans heavily on the form of iron provided by the supplement as being an easily absorbed chelated bisglycinate salt and its supposed ease of absorption compared to traditional forms. This point actually happens to be true, and I experienced no gastrointestinal discomfort or other unpleasant side effects as a result of taking it. Interestingly, 350 mg a day of ferrous bisglycinate does seem to be enough to darken the stool somewhat.The remaining components of the combination are B-vitamins, vitamin C, zinc, and copper. These are peripheral to the purpose of this supplement, but useful bonuses if you aren’t already getting them elsewhere. Otherwise, they’re not present in enough quantities to pose any problems with overdosing in healthy users. Their inclusion is an unspoken justification for the pricing not being as good as with competing iron-only supplements, but I’ll leave it up to you to decide if they’re worth it in your situation.Overall, I find myself satisfied with this supplement and its manufacturer. As usual, they make all the right noises about being manufactured in a US-based GMP-certified facility with third-party testing, which is more or less the bare minimum. Of all those sorts of claims I think the only relevant one is that the capsules are vegan hypromellose, which is always nice to see.

This Iron supplement by FIDUS is AMAZING! I took a dose in the early morning and I felt well all day. I like that it not only has iron but has copper, B vitamins, and zinc. The capsules are of an average size and should be easy to swallow for most adults. As far as the price goes, at the time of this review, $10 for 60 days worth of doses is a mega value.
