I’ve been battling cold and flu bugs every couple months. Some folks swear by zinc, vitamin C, Echinacea… Having just ran out of a zinc supplement in pill form, I decided to give this one a shot. I had just started having cold/flu issues for a couple days when I placed the order. I started it as soon as it arrived. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I no longer felt like I was dreaming. I felt awake, energetic and I swear my cold symptoms started to dial down. Day two now and I’m happily breathing thru my nose and just clearing my throat frequently. My energy and concentration is up, up & away. Thank you thank you thank you!!

One of the worst supplements I have taken
I buy many supplements from Amazon Per Month, and I do not review most of them as there are already accuracy reviews.However, this Zinc supplement has been one of the worst supplements that I’ve ever tried, and people need to know about this.While I want to give the company the benefit of the doubt, it has several fundamental mistakes that earn it an Extremely low rating. Here are a few points in summary:-The default dosage is too low to be effective. There is a reason many zinc capsules go from 30mg to 50mg, because that is where the supplement becomes effective. 5-10mg is the default doseage of this brand and that is virtually ineffective, particularly for a cold, preventing one, or lessening symptoms.-If you increase the doseage/number of drops to a more effective range, the taste becomes so powerfully ‘vitamin-like’, and it sticks to your tongue, that it makes your mouth start to produce Saliva because you want to throw-up/vomit. I have a strong stomach, but this is a very unpleasant feeling, especially coming from a supplement. It was a major eye-opener for me. What were the chemists thinking that formulated this product? That everyone suffices with the minimal doseage?-This is very suspect, but when I increased doseage to 30-40mg of this product, it didn’t seem to help as much with my cold as the high-absorption zinc capsules I took before. I won’t discredit this product for that, because it is hard to gauge if it’s really helping, because each ‘cold’ you get will be slightly different. However, if you cannot drink-down the correct amount of Zinc each day consistently as needed to lessen cold symptoms, then what is the point of this Zinc supplement? It’s essentially failed in a critical aspect of its design.-Why does this supplement have so much Copper when it is advertised as a Zinc supplement? I don’t understand what the makers were thinking.I will NOT be reordering this. I also noticed other Reviewers mention that they didn’t feel it was effective at the default doseage. No surprise there.I am personally going back to normal high-bioavailable Zinc capsules that I was successfully using before. The only reason I tried this ‘liquid zinc’ is because the zinc capsules I normally purchased were out of stock.

Make sure to always eat something with it or you’ll feel extremely nauseous!! The flavor is a bit powerful if you’re just mixing it with just water but I usually add it to my iced coffee or yogurt in the morning. Overall I love it and have purchased it twice! So far I’ve noticed a difference in my immune system and in my skin (win, win!)

Wow very nasty tasting
Beware, the mild mineral taste they warn you about, oh NO, nothing mild about this! It will make things taste different in your mouth for hours!I take different nutraceuticals all in liquid forms so I thought I would just go ahead and take a dose and be on my way, folks that was a huge mistake!! Even if you take other vitamins by mouth without drenching them in juice, tea or whatever, don’t do it with this! seriously do it with food on your stomach (and diluted with something yummy) , or you may barf!! I have taken zinc before, but not with the copper in it, and it may be the copper that’s putting me off.. Kinda like licking a copper pipe for about 20 minutes LOL I only imagine… never did it 😉

My TSH was at 8+ so they raised my levothyroxine up to 150. Three months later, it was 7. Right after that, I started putting five drops of this in some water and three months later, my TSH is 2.3.I attribute it to this because I can’t think of anything else that changed.

Beneficial supplement to add to your health care!
Have taken this supplement for several months and it seems to have helped improve my complexion and I am noticing that I have not gotten any colds lately. Will continue to take as I feel that I need this and other supplements since I am no longer eating much due to Zepbound medication. Easy to add to any beverage without altering the taste. I recommend to buy!
