Convenient way to supplement collagen
I like that this collagen supplement comes in capsule form because it’s convenient and easy to add to my daily routine without having to mix powders or drinks. The formula includes several ingredients like biotin, hyaluronic acid, and different types of collagen, which makes it feel like a well-rounded option for supporting skin and hair. After using it for a while, I do feel like there’s been a small improvement in how my skin and hair look, although the changes aren’t dramatic.

TL;DR: Heavy loaded supplementThis looks like a pretty good supplement overall. 1g of collagen peptides. Plus multiple other nutrients.Horse tail extracted is associated with having high silica content, helping with nails and hair.Holy basil is associated with scalp and hair benefits.It contains numerous antioxidants.What I find unique is it contains iodine. Although deficiency is generally uncommon. Apparently it is associated with hair support.Keep in mind, this contains a LOT of biotin. If you are getting ready to take medical lab tests, tell your doctor and pause supplementation. High levels of biotin can interfere with lab test results.I would also caution against taking many other supplementation. It already contains high level of B vitamins. Taking additional may lead to some toxicity or just simply wasting money. Another thing to be cautious of is this contains selenium. Whereas it generally supports hair and nail growth, consuming too much can actually cause hair and nail damage.Overall, this is actually a fairly well rounded supplement. But it is important to be aware of any other supplements you are taking. if you take multiple supplements you may consider a collagen supplement that doesn’t contain so many extra ingredients.

Good supplement for nail strength
After using this product for a couple of months, I can say I definitely see a difference in the strength of my nails. I can’t see as much of a difference in my skin or hair, but I’d say those are probably a little harder to judge. There are no questionable ingredients or ridiculous levels of ‘extras’ in it. For a 60 day supply, the price is reasonable.

I’ve been taking these collagen capsules for about a month now. So far, I can’t really say I’ve noticed a major difference. So, for effectiveness, it may just be too soon to tell.What I do like is the convenience of pills. I much prefer taking capsules over having to mix collagen powder into drinks every day. The capsules are easy to swallow, have no taste, and I didn’t have any unpleasant aftertaste or “burps” later. Since these are capsules, clumping obviously isn’t an issue like it can be with collagen powders.The ingredient blend seems good overall, with multiple collagen types plus added biotin, hyaluronic acid, turmeric, vitamin C, keratin, and niacinamide. One important thing to note is that these contain fish and egg ingredients, so definitely avoid them if you have allergies to either.These were easy on my stomach. I didn’t experience any GI upset or other side effects while taking them. The serving size is two capsules daily, so the bottle lasts 60 days, which makes it feel like a pretty decent value for the money.Overall, the jury is still out for me on the actual benefits, but I do appreciate the convenience and lack of digestive issues.

I’ve used Innate Vitality supplements before (including their Magnesium Glycinate), and I’ve had good experiences with the brand, so I decided to try this Collagen Peptides formula. I purchased this primarily as part of a routine for skin, nails, and overall joint/connective tissue support. This product includes 1,000 mg of hydrolyzed multi-collagen peptides (Types I, II, III, V, and X) and a high dose of biotin (10,000 mcg). It also includes complementary ingredients like hyaluronic acid, keratin, vitamin C, niacinamide, and turmeric. I like the capsule form since it’s convenient and easy to take, especially when traveling. One thing I really like about this version is that it also includes added micronutrients such as iodine (150 mcg), zinc (12 mg), and selenium (100 mcg), which makes it feel more like a comprehensive daily support formula. That said, after comparing it to another Innate Vitality collagen product I’ve tried, the collagen dose here feels on the lighter side. This version provides 1,000 mg of collagen per serving, while their Collagen Complex provides 2,025 mg, and the turmeric is only 5 mg compared to 60 mg in that formula. On the plus side, this one is only 2 capsules per serving, whereas the Collagen Complex is 3 capsules per serving, so it’s easier to take consistently. I do appreciate that it’s produced in a certified GMP facility, uses non-GMO ingredients, and is third-party tested, which gives peace of mind on quality. One additional note: unlike another Innate Vitality product I’ve used, this one doesn’t clearly state “Made in the USA” on the label/listing. That may not matter to everyone, but I personally prefer when manufacturing origin is clearly stated.Overall, it’s a convenient, well-rounded supplement from a brand I trust, but for my needs I’d prefer a higher collagen (and turmeric) dose per serving.
