I chose this probiotic because it has a lot of strains. When I started taking probiotics years ago I used one that had a few specific strains that were oriented toward emotional stability and less stress. I was extremely happy with it however as I learned more about gut health I began to choose broader-spectrum probiotics which offered those benefits and more. Often they included most if not all of the same strains as the original product that helped me, but they respected the nature of the gut as a diverse ecosystem. It turns out that as broad an array of wholesome bacterial strains as possible is a wise approach. This Horbaach probiotic offers 31 strains which seem to have been carefully selected.Another thing this product does is divide the dose into two pills. The container has 60 pills. The serving size is two pills. Most probiotics have a one-pill dose. With two pills, it’s possible to choose to take a half-dose. Especially if you’re concerned about too strong an impact on your digestion, that’s a nice option. If you’re on a maintenance dose, too, which is basically the case for me now, one pill might be right.In addition to probiotic bacterial strains, this product includes prebiotic fiber. This is unnecessary if you take it with a sufficient fiber-containing food, but might be useful to someone who takes it on an empty stomach. The inclusion of prebiotic fiber (which adds volume) may be another reason why the serving size is two pills.I think this is both a good product and a good value. It seems to be of very good quality and efficacy. I would get it again.

Effective probiotic
The Horbaach Probiotic contains 60 delayed release capsules (a 30 day supply) with 31 strains of microorganisms and Organic Acacia fiber as a prebiotic. Different strains are for different purposes. The only other ingredients these contain are MCT and silica in a vegan capsule. I used these before writing this review and they were effective for me. It’s unknown where these are made but they are “packaged and lab tested in the USA”. They are non-GMO and have an expiration date of 9/27 (ordered 6/17). Horbaach is a real company and enjoys a good rating for their supplements. There is another company that has the exact same ingredients but cost less. It makes me wonder if they are made by the same company.
