Good Immune Support Formula, But the Pills Are Huge
I’ve been using the Horbäach Immune Support Supplement Triple Action Adaptive Immunity Matrix for about a month and overall I think it’s a solid immune support supplement with good ingredients.One of the things that initially caught my attention was the ingredient blend. The formula combines well-known immune support nutrients like vitamin C, zinc, and elderberry, which are commonly used to support the body’s immune defenses and daily wellness routines.I appreciate that the supplement is vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free, which makes it accessible for a lot of different dietary preferences. It also comes in coated caplets, which helps a little with swallowing. The unpleasant vitamin/mineral taste does break through however if you don’t consume it quickly.In terms of results, it seems like a nice daily immune support supplement. I love supplements and have been taking it as part of my regular routine and feel generally healthy while using it. It feels like a good preventative addition, especially during times of year when immune support is helpful. It may be one of the supplements that is helping my seasonal allergies not hit as hard this year as well.The big downside is the size of the pills. These caplets are huge. Even with the coating, they can be a bit difficult to swallow. If you’re someone who struggles with larger supplements, this might be a challenge. I can take them, but it definitely requires a good amount of water and speed for the flavor.Overall, I’d still recommend it because the formula and ingredients are solid, and it seems like a quality supplement for daily immune support. I just wish the caplets were smaller.

Check the Label First
This is definitely a product where you want to read the label before purchasing. I decided to stop taking it after a few doses due to a couple of issues.These coated caplets are slightly shorter, but wider, than a standard gelcap, and have a bright orange color (apparently from the berberine). They are slightly more difficult to swallow than a standard gelcap. Four hours after using, I went to urinate and was greeted with neon yellow urine, which I was quite unprepared for. A bit of research led me to believe this was from the berberine and your body’s natural way of processing a surplus of it.The primary reason I stopped is because I am allergic to ragweed, and the label cautions against those with an allergy taking it.Otherwise, the mix of ingredients is an interesting one, containing a few things not seen in most supplements, so I think if you aren’t allergic to ragweed (or other members of the daisy family) and you can handle seeing fluorescent urine on a regular basis, these might be a beneficial dietary supplement.

The formulation of this product is very good, however I would say personally I am not always a fan of extracts as in my experience they tend to not be as potent as non-extract forms. This product contains mostly extracts, however the formulation is good and the price is reasonable and also the quality is good.I cannot say I have noticed anything from it but for somebody on the verge of getting a cold, I can imagine this product could potentially help as some of it’s ingredients are anti-viral and known to boost the immune system.

This review is purely my experience using this product and should not be considered medical advice. Please consult with your doctor before adding this supplement to your routine.Horbäach is a company I’ve been purchasing supplements from for years. I have generally trusted their products because they are reasonably priced and have been consistently good in my experience.Every ingredient in this formulation is something I would personally take for immune support, so seeing them combined into one formula in decent amounts gave me confidence right away.The two primary ingredients, Vitamin C and Zinc, have always been important for me when I begin to feel the start of a cold or a sore throat. With the added Adaptive Immunity blend and Core Response Complex, this feels more complete than a basic immune support formula. I also like that it includes Oil of Oregano, which is not something I see very often in an immune complex. This one contains it at a 65:1 ratio, and it is also organic.The ingredients are concentrated in fairly strong amounts, which makes a single dose feel more worthwhile than having to piece together multiple separate supplements. Having everything in one convenient tablet makes this easier to take.There is virtually no odor from them, which I would describe as more like oval coated tablets than caplets. I also did not notice any leftover powder or residue sitting in the bottle.Luckily, I have only been under the weather once this year. It started with a sore throat, and I immediately began taking this Immune Support complex. For me, it never developed into a full cold, and I do believe this product helped stop it early.There is a 30-day supply here, which should be more than enough to cover a couple of instances when immune support is needed.Between the ingredient profile, the convenience, and my past trust in the Horbäach name, this is one I think makes sense to keep on hand.

Good pills; watch out for the size
As the case with all supplements, you need to take it for a while to accurately gauge the effect. While it’s too early for me to conclude that, I will focus on the physical characteristics of these supplements.Transparency: All the ingredients are comprehensively listed on the packaging, including all the complexes are broken down by the composite ingredients. This is a huge plus.Of the two main forms of vitamins, it has 267% of the daily dose of Vitamin C and 91% of the daily dose of Zinc Citrate.Taste: It has a prominent herbal taste (likely coming from elderberry and peppermint). I consider it a plus – it means you are taking in natural ingredients and can trust the pills to contain what they state they do.Form: These pills are larger than average plastic-coating pills (see picture). They are about the regular length yet wider and taller. And since you have to take 2 at a time, they can be difficult to swallow.Side effects: I haven’t observed any. I chase down these pills with water and feel fine afterwards. There is no aftertaste, no adverse reaction like burping, and my tummy doesn’t hurt.Dosage: The manufacturer recommends taking 2 pills per day, and so it is a 30-day supply. This supply is perfect for the winter-spring transition month when people often have a compromised immune system.Downsides: The pills are a bright yellow color, which seems unnatural. The label has riboflavin (Color) listed. I assume that is where the yellow color comes from. If so, I don’t think that’s the necessary addition to a health supplement pill – the cleaner the better.Final verdict: Pills with a clear indication of the ingredients. I appreciate the prominent herbal smells and taste as it gives me peace of mind about the natural ingredients I am taking. Even with the larger than average size, I recommend these pills.
