Great taste, dissolves well, but difficult to measure without a scoop
This fiber & probiotic powder supplement dissolves easily without any graininess or odd textures, and has a pleasant raspberry lemon flavor that’s not overly sweet and has no weird aftertastes from the stevia. It reminds me of Natural Calm magnesium powder. It tastes a little weak mixed with 8 oz. of water, but is especially delicious when mixed with half water and half juice.I really wish they would include a scoop, because the serving size is 3/4 tablespoon, and I don’t even have measuring scoop for that size.It’s difficult to tell how much the dose is for the prebiotics and probiotics, since it just lists the quantity of the blend, not each individual component. I’m concerned about the dosage of the probiotics, since I’m also taking Horbaach digestive enzymes with probiotics and I wonder if the dosage is going to be too much.There is definitely room for improvement in those two aspects I mentioned, but overall I love this supplement and it’s helping me meet my fiber goals. I have not noticed any side effects or stomach upset from taking this, even though I usually am sensitive to high fiber foods.

Loving this supplement!
I’m really loving this supplement! I normally drink fruit flavored kefir every morning to get my probiotics, but sometimes I run out of kefir, so I like having this probiotic powder to add to a frozen fruit smoothie on the days I don’t have kefir. An added bonus is that one serving of this powder also gives me 6 g of fiber. I also appreciate that the fiber in this supplement is organic (organic tapioca flour, organic acacia fiber, and organic Jerusalem artichoke fiber). Since I’m careful about maintaining my weight, I think it’s great that one serving of this supplement only has 15 calories! Another reason that I like alternating this powdered supplement with my kefir is that my kefir only has 12 different probiotic cultures and this powder has 25 different probiotics.I can’t really comment on the raspberry lemonade flavor, since I don’t ever taste this flavor by itself. Since I mix it in with different frozen fruit combinations in my smoothies, the flavor just gets mixed in with all the other flavors. I do think it’s nice that it’s a fruit flavor, so that it mixes in nicely with the other fruit flavors in my smoothies. But, I’m not sure what it tastes like if you drink it by itself in water, or mixed in with just one fruit juice flavor.Another thing that I LOVE about this supplement is that it is sweetened only with stevia, which is my all-time favorite non-sugar, non-caloric sweetener. In fact, based on my personal research, stevia is the only non-caloric sweetener I feel comfortable using. Products that are sweetened only with stevia taste great to me, and I always feel fine after consuming them. Some other non-caloric sweeteners taste bad to me, and some of them give me some digestive upset. So, I am happy with all of the ingredients in this supplement, and love the ease of just popping a scoop of the powder in the blender with my smoothie ingredients for a nice extra healthful nutritional boost for my day.The current price for this Horbäach Fiber & Probiotic Powder Supplement on Amazon is $18.99. With added sales tax in my area (tax in your area will probably be different) the total cost is $20.72 for 40 servings That the daily dosage cost only about 52 cents per day. The kefir I usually drink every morning to get my probiotics costs a lot more than 52 cents per glass, so, for me, this is a really good price, especially since I’m also getting a good dose of fiber with it as well.

Amazing!! No Glaze! Read on.
Rarely do you receive something that makes you want to give it six stars, but this is one of those items. First, the powder is really fine and blends amazingly. Stir it with a spoon for about 10 seconds, and it’s ready to drink. No grit, no graininess. Just like a packet of water flavoring. If I let it sit for a while, there will be a little collection on the bottom, but it is VERY little, and it is still not off-putting to drink. My only recommendation is to add ice cubes AFTER it is fully blended and about to be drunk. The taste? Its absolutely delightful. This is sugar-free, so it has that artificial sweetener tinge, but I have no issues with that, and I much prefer that there is no sugar. It tastes like a Wyler’s lemonade mix. By a mile, the best-tasting fiber mix I have ever tasted. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with a scoop, but that’s probably for the better because I use a spoon to mix the drink. Two teaspoons in a full glass of water and it’s perfect for me. Is it effective? You bet, and not in an uncomfortable way. I would say this works very gently. If you’re looking for a blowout, this isn’t your product. But if you’re looking for a week of getting things moving, this is ideal.If someone is on a regimen of using something like Metamucil on a regular basis, this would be my recommendation to replace that. The taste and texture are so far ahead of anything else; I can’t overstate it. It’s not cheap compared to a regular drink mix, but for a fiber mix its no more expensive. I will definitely be ordering more when this runs out.

Helps make you feel fuller throughout the day
I’ve tried a number of products from horbaach now and they’re slowly but surely becoming my favorite supplement. Everything I’ve tried has been great quality and this fiber powder is as well. It’s non gmo, certified organic and produced in a GMP certified facility so what’s not to love there. The flavor has a nice mixed berry kind of taste and isn’t overly sweet or synthetic tasting. I’ve been drinking a serving per morning and it helps to make me feel fuller throughout the day with less sugar or hunger cravings so I know it’s working. I feel the price is incredible for a roughly 40 serving jar and will be buying more when it runs out. My only complaint is a minor one….i wish they had thrown a 1 serving scoop in there. It would be much easier than weighing out 3/4’s tablespoons using my normal kitchen utensils. Aside from that it’s a hit in all the ways

An easy way to add 6 grams of fiber without another capsule
I’ve been trying quite a few different supplements lately, and I actually like having a powder option for fiber. There are only so many capsules I want to swallow in a day, and this can simply be mixed into water, juice, or a smoothie.Looking at the actual label, one serving provides 6 grams of dietary fiber, which is 21% of the Daily Value, for only 15 calories. The fiber comes from a 7.2 gram organic prebiotic fiber and probiotic blend containing soluble tapioca fiber, acacia fiber, and Jerusalem artichoke fiber.What surprised me is the probiotic portion. This isn’t just a fiber powder with “probiotics” slapped on the front. The label lists a pretty extensive 25-strain probiotic blend, including multiple Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains.The raspberry lemonade flavor makes this much easier to drink on its own than an unflavored fiber powder, although it is sweetened with stevia. If you’re sensitive to that distinctive stevia taste, that’s worth knowing ahead of time.I also appreciate the relatively short additional ingredient list: citric acid, organic flavors, organic stevia extract, and beet root for color. It’s vegan, non-GMO, and free from gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, and soy.One thing I would have liked to see on the label is the actual CFU count for the probiotics. There are a LOT of strains listed, but I don’t see a total probiotic CFU amount disclosed, so it’s difficult to know how substantial the probiotic component really is.Overall, I like this primarily as a convenient fiber and prebiotic supplement, with the probiotics being a nice addition. Six grams of fiber in one serving is substantial enough to actually make a difference in my daily fiber intake, and mixing one drink sounds considerably better than adding yet another handful of pills to my routine.

Delicious & Healthy Drink with Prebiotic Fiber & Probiotic Supplement
This is a very convenient healthy drink with a combination of prebiotic fibers and probiotics bacteria. With this drink you can provide foods for beneficial bacteria to our guts and replenish good bacteria that can stay in the guts. The long-term benefits are to maintain a healthy bacteria flora in guts and help maintain immunological health. This product comes as a flavored powder that can make a nice, red-colored lemonade in the summer. It is very much like a blood orange drink in color and taste. In winter, you can also add the power to smoothie or juice to take advantage of the benefit year-round.From the ingredient list, I found three fibers from tapioca, acacia and Jerusalem artichoke. Besides saving as foods for bacteria in guts and promote healthy bowel movement, these fibers might have slightly different emphasis. Acacia is rich in FOS and Jerusalem artichoke is rich in inulin. The combination of three fibers might help control blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides, respectively. The probiotics are in a 25-strain blend that some of them has a higher chance to settle in our guts. Most of the strains are either bifidobacterum or lactobacillus, to help digestion and maintain immunological health. Some of them are also known to help maintain the integrity of gut barrier. It also contains the two stains, Streptococcus Thermophilus (UF-336) and Lactobacillus Bulgarians (UF-563 and UF-165) in our regular yogurt. As printed on the bottom of the jar, the shelf life of this product is 3 years.

Good Flavor, but 3/4 Tablespoon Is an Odd Serving Size
I was pleasantly surprised by the raspberry lemonade flavor. It’s actually quite good for a sugar-free fiber powder, and I can see this being an easy one to drink every day.What I don’t understand is the serving size. It’s 3/4 tablespoon, or 2¼ teaspoons, and there isn’t a scoop included. My measuring spoons go from a teaspoon to a tablespoon, so I have no way to measure 2¼ teaspoons without eyeballing it or using multiple spoons. For something you’re supposed to take every day, that’s just an odd choice.This is really a fiber supplement with probiotics added. The main ingredients are an organic prebiotic fiber blend, soluble tapioca fiber, acacia fiber, and Jerusalem artichoke fiber, followed by a 25-strain probiotic blend. One serving has 7 grams of carbs, with 6 grams of that being fiber. The other ingredients are citric acid, organic flavors, organic stevia extract, and organic beet root.The container is a good size, although mine was only filled about two-thirds of the way. That’s not necessarily a problem with a powdered product since I know these can settle, but it does look like there’s quite a bit of empty space when you first open it.The one thing I’d change is the serving measurement. If I’m supposed to take 3/4 tablespoon every day, give me a scoop for it!
