    Delayed release capsules

    The bottle of 90 Akkermansia Probiotic capsules is a 45 day supply if taking the recommended two capsules a day. They are easy to swallow and it is recommended that you take them with a meal. They are delayed release vegan capsules and are, according to their product page, made in the USA in their own lab. They do not contain any of the common allergens such as soy, yeast, milk, wheat, artificial sweeteners, and are non-gmo and guten-free. Refrigeration is not required, but it is recommended to store them in a cool, dry place. I was looking for an akkermansia supplement that contained cranberry, pomegranate, and grape seed extract, so this product fit the bill. I won’t be able to fully judge its effectiveness until taking it for a longer time frame. It is reasonably priced for the ingredients and number of capsules.

    Easy to Add to a Daily Routine

    These capsules are easy to take and fit into my daily supplement routine without any hassle. I like the 90-count bottle and the combination of Akkermansia with additional probiotic and prebiotic ingredients. It’s difficult to judge the long-term effects of a probiotic quickly, but so far I’ve had no issues taking it. Overall, a solid supplement that I’m happy to continue using.

    Noticeable Improvement After 30+ Days — Will Keep Taking

    I have been taking this Horbäach Akkermansia Muciniphila Probiotic for over 40 days, and unlike many supplements where it can be difficult to tell whether they are doing anything, I have noticed a positive difference in my digestive system.I have a very sensitive stomach, so I was especially pleased that these capsules caused me no stomach upset. Since taking them daily, I have noticed less lower intestinal pressure and discomfort, along with an improvement in my bowel movements. Of course, everyone’s experience with a probiotic can be different, but for me the improvement has been noticeable enough that I plan to continue taking it.I also like that these are delayed-release vegan capsules. That’s an important feature to me in a probiotic because the capsule is designed to delay releasing its contents as it travels through the digestive system.One thing worth pointing out is that the advertised 30 billion per serving is not 30 billion Akkermansia alone. According to Horbäach, each serving contains 25 billion CFU of Bifidobacterium lactis and 5 billion TFU of Akkermansia muciniphila at the time of manufacture. The formula also includes a prebiotic and polyphenol complex with ingredients such as Jerusalem artichoke, acacia, cranberry, pomegranate, and grape seed extract.I also appreciate that Horbäach states that this product is packaged and lab tested in the USA. The capsules are non-GMO and gluten-free.After more than a month of actually using this supplement, I feel it has made a positive difference for me. Compared with some other Akkermansia supplements I have looked at, I also think this offers good value. This is one supplement I intend to continue taking, and I will be ordering another bottle.

    Pretty Decent Probiotic Pill

    This isn’t a bad product at all, but I didn’t notice too much of a radical difference taking it. This may be because I maintain a healthy diet. That being said, the benefits of Akkermansia seem to be backed up by scientific study. Given the price, ease of use, and snazzy bottle, I’m giving it a 5/5.Now, I’m not an authority on health or nutrition matters, so do not just take my word for it. Do some research of your own. This disclaimer being said, the stated benefits I saw of this product are: improved gut health, production of short-chain fatty acids, improved metabolism, stimulation of GLP-1, and weight management.Sounds wonderful and, since it seems to be backed by studies, it is wonderful. I, however, didn’t notice a big difference when taking this product. Since it works on a metabolic level, you likely need to be taking this for many months to see the result. Keep this in mind when considering the product. One bottle wont be your saving grace. You need to make this a habit and look at your progress over a year or so.As far as price goes, these are amazing. It’s 20 USD as of the time of reviewing. That means you pay 0.44 USD a day for the dose. This isn’t bad at all. If you buy kombucha, you’ll be paying triple or more than that price. It’s also easier to take these pills than maintain a balanced diet that naturally encourages these types of gut flora.So all in all, if you’re sold on the benefits of probiotics, I’d say definitely get this. That being said, don’t expect miracles and it’s no substitution for working out and dieting as far as weight management goes.

    Gluten-free and Vegan supplement with pomegranate, cranberry, Jerusalem artichoke, and acacia!

    I have gotten iron supplements from the Horbaach company in the past, and was very pleased with them…so I saw these prebiotics/probiotics, and wanted to give these a try, because I currently take probiotics daily, for my health, and like that these have both.What I love about these, are that these have cranberry, acacia, and pomegranate, which as we all know, are good for their different respective health benefits. (Normally you would have to drink a lot of juice, which would not be as healthy a choice.) These are a simple way to get all those good-for-your-body benefits—without needing to consume all that unnecessary juice or sugar. (Another bonus…this supplement also has no sodium, which is also important to me because I am just trying to do better with the choices I make when it comes to my health. )So what you get are 90 delayed release vegan and gluten-free capsules, with a serving size of 2 vegan capsules per day (a 45 days supply, which also gives you plenty of time to reorder again for the following month). The capsules are Akkermansia + Probiotic 30 billion (*at time of manufacture) with duplibiotic polyphenols, which are known for different gut health benefits.Each capsule contains Akkermansia muciniphila UF-835, (5 billion TFU) 10 mg, Bifodibacterium lactis – UF12 (25 billion CFU), and Advanced Prebiotic + Dupliotic Polyphenol Complex (organic Jeruselum Artichoke, Organic Acacia, Cranberry Fruit 50:1 Extract, Pomegranate Hulls 15:1 Extract.These have no taste or aftertaste, are easy to swallow and take because of being in a capsule form.     A little different than a typical probiotic

    A few things I like about this formula are:• Delayed-release capsules, which are designed to help more bacteria survive stomach acid.• A very high probiotic count, with the label claiming thirty billion total organisms per serving.• Vegan capsules.• It combines probiotics, prebiotics, and plant polyphenols instead of relying on probiotics alone.One thing I’m a little cautious about is the label itself. It lists the probiotic ingredients by milligrams while separately stating the CFU count. For probiotics, the CFU number is really what matters, not the milligrams, so the label can be a little confusing.Overall, this is a simple way to take a probiotic that doesn’t have any aftertaste and comes in a capsule. After taking it a few days, I have not experienced any nausea, but I haven’t taken it long enough to verify that it fulfills everything the product claims to. It typically takes 2 to 3 weeks to fully establish its effectiveness.
