Potent Antioxidant Support in Premium Packaging

I picked up this Resveratrol from Himalaya because I wanted to see if adding a heavy-duty antioxidant could help with general wellness and longevity. At two capsules a day, you are getting 1,000 mg of Japanese Knotweed extract, which works out to 500 mg of actual trans-resveratrol; that is a fairly high dose compared to many other brands on the market. One thing I appreciate about this brand is the quality of the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle rather than cheap plastic, which feels more premium and helps protect the capsules from light and air. The capsules themselves are vegan and fairly easy to swallow; I haven’t experienced any weird herbal aftertaste or digestive issues, even when taking them on an empty stomach. From my experience so far, the effects have been minimal. I’ve only been taking them for about a week, and honestly, one week is definitely not enough time to see any real benefits from an antioxidant supplement. These kinds of things are more about long-term cellular health rather than an instant energy boost; therefore, I don’t expect to feel a major difference for at least a month or two.Overall, it is a clean and high-potency supplement from a brand that usually knows what they are doing. If you are looking for a reliable trans-resveratrol source for the long haul, this is a solid choice; just don’t expect a miracle transformation in the first few days.

    Hopes for healthy again

I include resveratrol in my supplements as a preventative and protective supplement. Other supplements I take for an immediate effect, where this is more for the subtle antioxidant benefits and longevity. The pills are easy to swallow, and I love that they are vegan. This bottle is about a month’s supply, so it is a more pricey supplement but i find the quality on par with the price. This supplement is easy on my stomach. Since this herbal supplement is more of a preventative, I can’t speak to immediate effectiveness. Speak to your herbalist or doctor to see if this could be right for you.

Appropriate 500mg Trans-resveratrol Per Capsule, But No 3rd Party Labs Confirming Dosage Accuracy

Various trans-resveratrol supplements I’ve ordered and used supply recommended dose amounts ranging from as little as 100 mg/day (or in a very few instances even less) to as much as 5000mg/day (or in a very few instances even more). So there is a question of how much is necessary to have any long term effect for improving longevity, which the main reason for ingesting this stuff (grounded by peer reviewed reputable journal publication). “Resvertrol” comprises both trans- and cis- resveratrol, but only trans-resveratrol is generally considered to be biologically active). One problem in deciding how much is that 100-500mg has no perceptible effect, plus the only *perceptible* effect of much higher doses is unwanted negative side effects nausea, diarrhea and the like for some people. Also, the evidence in humans is still weak or inconsistent, so even a well-chosen dose may have no effectThese things said, human studies and reviews commonly use ranges around 150–500 mg/day of trans-resveratrol, with many over-the-counter regimens landing around 500 mg twice daily in trials and reference sources.Accordingly the amount of trans-resveratrol in this supplement is about the maximum amount that will not result in any negative side effects for most people. The labeling on this product that it has 1000mg Resveratrol is a bit misleading and over dramatic, since only trans-resveratrol is considered to have any therapeutic significance (500mg here). Another issues, which has been shown by NY Times reporters to be of concern, is that the amounts shown on supplement labeling can be wildly unreliable. Since there is no third party laboratory testing to confirm the composition listed on the label, the listed dosage should be viewed with an abundance of caution.I have used this product without sensing any short term effects (including no negative side effects), which is as expected according to peer reviewed scientific studies.Summary- all things considered, the daily amount of this product suggested on the label provides a reasonable dose, but absent any 3rd party confirmation the label inforjation should be viewed with an abundance of caution.

Seems ok, couldn’t really tell any effects

I received this Himalayan resveratrol supplement through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an honest review.I was eager to try this since it’s an antioxidant, especially now that I’m getting older and being more mindful about supplements. Everything about it looks good on paper; the quality seems solid, and nothing raised any red flags. the ingreedients seem like they are of a good quality, and I didn’t notice any off taste when taking them. However, I didn’t notice any effects while taking it. This isn’t necessarily bad, but I also couldn’t tell if it was making a difference in my daily life.On the positive side, it was easy to take and didn’t upset my stomach or cause any negative effects, which I appreciate.Overall, this seems like a decent supplement, but based on my experience, I just didn’t notice any real difference while using it. It’s on ok value for the money, but for the price I would have liked to see a difference.

    Large Capsules with Strong Aroma

I’ve taken resveratrol supplements in the past, so I was interested in trying this one. The first thing I noticed was that these capsules have a fairly strong scent and a distinct flavor, which I hadn’t experienced with other brands. If you’re sensitive to the smell or taste of supplements, you may want to take these with food or a beverage that helps mask it.The capsules are on the larger side, measuring about an inch long, and the recommended serving is two capsules daily. Although they are large, I didn’t have any trouble swallowing them.I appreciate that this supplement is vegan, gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, soy free, and contains no ingredients of animal origin, making it suitable for a variety of dietary preferences.I didn’t experience any unpleasant aftertaste or “supplement burps,” which can sometimes happen with certain products. As with any dietary supplement, individual experiences can vary, so it’s always a good idea to discuss new supplements with your healthcare provider to make sure they’re appropriate for your personal health needs.

  6. In my honest opinion…

High quality, potent, clean Japanese knotweed and trans-resveratrol

I am swapping out the resveratrol I was taking previously with this one for a few reasons:- I have always had excellent results with Himalaya brand supplements- as soon as I opened this bottle, I could smell this natural herb, unlike my other brand- they nailed the packaging, it’s perfect in my opinion: glass bottle in non-fussy but easy to read cardboard box, small plastic seal at top of bottle, with a second foil seal – well protected but without wasted material. And the capsules actually fill the bottle, with just small ball of cotton at top. I hate it when you order something that comes in a huge bottle with capsules that fill less than half the bottle – such a waste. One call-out on this – from what I’ve researched, this is a high dose of trans-resveratrol. This 1000mg of Japanese knotweed root extract, which provides 500mg of trans-resveratrol (plus other antioxidants) is over 2x the amount I want to take for my goals, so I am planning on taking a capsule every other day, which can work well with resveratrol according to what I researched. So for me, this 30-day supply bottle will be a 4-month supply. If I decide to up it to once a day, it’s still a 60-day supply, and a fantastic value for this high quality, clean, natural supplement.

Quality resveratrol supplement from a trusted brand

I was interested in trying it because resveratrol is often associated with antioxidant support and healthy aging. This product provides 500 mg of trans-resveratrol per serving (2 capsules), sourced from Japanese knotweed. I appreciate that the label clearly specifies the standardized extract and lists the ingredients transparently. The capsules are vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free, which is a plus for people with dietary restrictions. The bottle contains 60 capsules, providing a one-month supply at the recommended dosage. The capsules are a moderate size and easy to swallow. I didn’t notice any strong taste or smell when taking them.Another positive point is that the supplement comes in a glass bottle, which can help protect ingredients from light and maintain freshness. The packaging and labeling look professional and trustworthy. As with most supplements, it takes time to notice any potential benefits, but based on the ingredient profile and overall presentation, this appears to be a well-made product from a well-known herbal brand.Overall, this is a solid option for anyone looking to add resveratrol to their daily supplement routine.

    Limited results

This product is derived from Japanese Knotweed, which is rich in resveratrol and offers potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cardiovascular benefits. Two capsules contain 1000 mg. The capsules are easy to swallow. The bottle contains 60 capsules, which is enough for 30 days.I do not see any noticeable improvement or benefit after taking this product for several weeks. That could be because the effects are mild, or the product needs long-term use, or because the bioavailability is limited when it is not mixed with piperine or other compounds to improve absorption.I also find the price point a tad expensive for limited results.
