easy to swallow
I’ve never actually felt any different when taking supplements, but I can say that they did not make me feel worse, and that the softgels are easy to swallow.Since supplements are not regulated by the FDA there’s no way to know if the listed ingredients are actually included, but I can say that these softgels do have a smell that I can believe comes from these ingredients. I’m also choosing to believe that there’s at least some evidence suggesting that these ingredients help boost immune systems, as I do not have the energy to look for scientific studies of each thing.I’m giving these 3 stars (on the assumption that the listed ingredients are all actually in these pills), mostly because the pills are nice and small and I don’t feel worse. There’s also at least a chance they’ll do some good over time. If I actually do start feeling some effect I’ll come back and update my review.Since these are so easy to swallow, I’ll keep taking them for a while longer to see what happens. If I feel worse after I run out, I’ll know they were doing some good.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better, that you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.This bottle comes entirely encased in plastic. Normally I don’t like that, but at least it kept Amazon from putting their sticker on top of the bottle’s label, right over the information I need to read.The bottle comes less than half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. I would prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle.If used as directed it will last 15-30 days (60 capsules, take one 2-4 times per day).The “best if sold by” date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom of the bottle!) is Apr 19, 2027.The capsules have a not-unpleasant scent that I can’t quite place. They are easy to swallow with water.I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says manufactured in New Mexico.I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the website. Their herbsetc site is functional and informative. They go into more detail than most supplement companies on the herbs they use and how they are processed.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement but I like this blend, including the absence of fillers and flow agents that many companies say they need to use, while the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

Seem to be working
I have been fighting a mild sinus infection for about a month now and decided to try these soft gels because they have echinacea. I prefer not to use antibiotics except as a last resort. I have only been taking these for about a week but I think I am seeing some improvement. I realize this evidence is anecdotal but I have hopes that this might just clear up my problem. As others have mentioned these definitely have an earthy smell but not entirely unpleasant. I like that these are made in the USA and this seems to be a good company with high standards. The soft gels came packaged very well with a safety seal and a sell by date of January 23rd of 2027 printed on the bottle. The recommended dosage is one softgel 2-4 times per day. There are 60 soft gels so they would last from two weeks to a month depending on the dose.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is that, for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON’T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don’t take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars – The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars – The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars – The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don’t like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars – The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star – The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.
