I really like brewing these dried elderberries with homemade tea blends. I like the health benefits of elderberries as an ingredient added in a practical way to something I already consume. In hot water, they plump up and rehydrate nicely. It takes a bit longer to steep than my tea leaves, but it’s still a good edition to my tea blends. They taste good, a little tart, to be expected. I’m happy with this purchase, and I’ve got so many left after such a long time. No issues!

I purchased the Herb To Body Whole Elderberries (4 oz) to make my own homemade elderberry syrup, and I was very pleased with the quality. The berries arrived looking clean, whole, and well packaged.I used the elderberries to make a concentrated syrup with water, cinnamon, honey, and lemon. The berries produced a beautiful deep, inky purple color and a rich elderberry flavor. I was able to make a nice batch of concentrate that I portioned into freezer cubes for easy use throughout the school year.I appreciate that this product gives me the flexibility to make my own syrup and control the ingredients and sweetness myself.
