    Mild tropical taste, smooth, very versatile to use in a variety of ways, no mossy taste. I like it!

    This is the first time I have ever tried sea moss gel. This product is smooth with a nice mild, tropical fruit flavor. I cannot detect any moss taste in it. It will be a great addition to my current daily herbal routine – add it to my daily green shake, over peanut butter, over buttered gluten free toast, the world is the limit on ways to incorporate this into your daily routine. It was packed with great care to protect it from breakage and spoilage during shipping, an indication (among others) that this supplier goes to great lengths to provide a quality product and ensure customer satisfaction. I look forward to enjoying this product each day as a healthy and tasty addition to my daily health routine, and might just try some other flavors in the future.

    Fruity Flavor, but Not the Best Choice for Toast

    I’ve never had sea moss gel before, but I’ve heard about its potential benefits, so when I saw this, I figured it was a good opportunity to give it a try. I looked up the ingredients and nutrition information beforehand, and there wasn’t anything that concerned me.Since I don’t generally make smoothies, I thought I’d try using it on toast as a change of pace from my usual strawberry preserves. When it arrived, I opened it right away because I wanted to see what it tasted like.It definitely has a fruity flavor, although it’s fairly mild compared with a jam or preserves. I didn’t taste anything that I would describe as “sea moss,” although I’m not really sure what sea moss is supposed to taste like.The consistency was what threw me off. I was expecting something more like a spread, but it was closer to applesauce. I put it in the refrigerator overnight hoping it would firm up, and it did—but only slightly. When I put it on toast, the flavor was so mild that the bread actually overpowered it.If you’re looking for a sea moss product with a relatively low-calorie profile and want something fruity, this tastes pretty good, although I don’t have anything else to compare it with. For me, though, it’s probably a one-and-done. I just don’t see myself reaching for it again.

    Tropical swamp pudding, but make it healthy and taste good

    The tropical flavor makes this sea moss gel much easier to eat than I expected. The texture is definitely a little unusual if you’re new to sea moss, but it mixes easily into smoothies and other drinks if eating it straight isn’t your thing. I like that it’s made with wild-harvested sea moss and doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary ingredients. The 16-ounce jar is a decent size and seems like a reasonable value compared with other prepared sea moss gels. Convenient, easy to use, and the tropical flavor does a respectable job of convincing me I’m not eating something harvested from the ocean.

    Surprisingly tasty

    This gel is delicious and not overpoweringly sweet. I wasn’t sure what to expect reallly, but the tropical flavor comes through and tastes very natural. It doesn’t taste artificial or weird. As for the health benefits, those are always hard to tell if it’s helping or not, but everything I’ve read about sea moss sounds very promising. It’s nice to have something that’s a superfood for general health and wellness. Price wise this brand seems on par with others so I’d say it’s worth it for folks who want to try sea moss given the great taste. I usually just eat a spoonful at a time so I expect that the 16 ounce jar will last quite a long time.

    Great tasting introduction to Sea Moss Gel

    I’ve seen tons of articles and personal experiences and anecdotes about sea moss supplementation but have always been apprehensive about trying it. I know its supposed to be full of vitamins and trace minerals prebiotics and everything else that is supposed to be good for me, but I just couldn’t get past the psychological barrier of the how it looks and the texture. I saw this fruit flavored version and decided to take the jump into finally trying it. Bottle arrived in great packaging, no leaks or cracks. It was warm from sitting in the delivery van, and had a very liquid texture in the bottle I was not expecting.Directions said to make sure to refrigerate it for a while before trying for best textural experience, so I left it in overnight before cracking it open. On first inspection the next morning, it has solidified a great deal. Giving it a whiff it actually smelled really good, tropical fruit with no unpleasant notes. I tried about a tablespoon by itself first, the texture surprised me, like a nice apple sauce but slightly thicker and more gelatinous. Not unpleasant at all. The flavor was also great. Not super strong, but It just tasted mostly like melon or mango with a hint of pineapple.I’m about half way through the jar right now, and it tastes so good on its own I haven’t even experimented with adding to smoothies or yogurt or anything yet. Just grabbing a scoop out of the bottle with a spoon every morning. The bottle recommends to eat within 2 weeks for best flavor and texture, so I could probably be taking even more at this rate. Overall its been a great introduction to the world of Sea Moss Gel. It seems to be priced competitively, but still a little pricy for me to keep in my regular dietary supplement rotation unless I start to notice some kind of outsanding health benefits after this first bottle (I know thats not how this works lol). But I’ll definitely be ordering more every once in a while just to keep covering my health bases.

    Tastes More Like Tropical Fruit Spread Than Sea Moss

    wasn’t quite sure what to expect from sea moss gel, especially when it came to the taste and texture, but I was pleasantly surprised by this.It arrived very well packaged. The glass jar was protected with insulated bubble wrap inside a cardboard box, and the lid was securely wrapped. The jar also had a clearly printed lot number and expiration date.After refrigerating it as directed, I tried it straight from the spoon first. It has a fruity tropical smell with pineapple being the most noticeable to me. The texture isn’t really what I expected from something called a gel. It’s more like a very fine applesauce or, even better, apple butter. It’s thick enough to hold its shape on a spoon.The flavor is mildly sweet and tropical, pineapple and banana mostly but not overwhelmingly so. I don’t detect any seaweed or ocean taste at all. It’s sweet enough to be enjoyable without being overly sweet, and it’s actually quite tasty straight from the spoon. I also like that it’s only 10 calories per tablespoon, so it gives me that mildly sweet tropical fruit flavor without adding many calories.I tried spreading it on toast too and really enjoyed it that way. It reminded me of eating apple butter on toast, only with a tropical fruit flavor instead of apple.The label recommends 1–2 tablespoons daily and suggests using it in yogurt, beverages, smoothies and recipes. I like having those options, although the flavor is good enough that eating a spoonful straight from the jar works just fine for me.

    More Fruit-Based Than I Expected

    I was expecting this to be primarily a sea moss gel, so I was surprised when I looked at the ingredient list. The first ingredients are purified water, pineapple puree, guava puree, banana puree, white grape juice concentrate, pear juice concentrate, pineapple juice concentrate, passion fruit juice concentrate, and apple juice concentrate. The wildcrafted sea moss doesn’t appear until quite a bit further down the list.The tropical flavor makes sense given all of the fruit ingredients. One tablespoon contains 2 grams of carbohydrates and 2 grams of sugar, and the directions recommend taking 1–2 tablespoons daily. If you’re watching your sugar or carbohydrate intake, those numbers are definitely worth knowing.The directions say to refrigerate the jar for a few hours before opening it for the first time so it can reach its intended thicker consistency. The serving size is 1 tablespoon, so it’s easy enough to measure and use.I think this looks like a quality product, but I would definitely read the ingredient list before ordering. If you’re expecting a sea moss gel with fruit flavoring, this is much more of a fruit-based blend with sea moss added than I was expecting.

    Yummy! I’m really enjoying this sea moss fruit gel superfood. The tropical fruit flavor makes it much more enjoyable than I expected… sweet and tangy, but not overpowering. And I love that it is so easy to add to any daily routine.The texture is smooth, almost baby food consistency, and it doesn’t have the strong taste I was worried about. I really appreciate the convenient gel form because it makes it easier to take without having to prepare anything if you don’t want to.The quality and packaging were in a beautiful jar and the tropical flavor is a nice little bonus. It feels like a simple and convenient addition to my wellness routine. I’m very happy with this and would definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys being healthy!
