My son’s physician prescribed Hardy nutritionals Free-form Aminos over 10 years ago, and my son takes them daily. What I notice in my son is increased mental clarity. His diet is limited due to his dislike of vegetables, so having good quality supplements is a priority. We also use Hardy’s daily Essential Nutrients as a multivitamin and it is also excellent.

Rating 3.5 starWhen I discovered Hardy Free Form Amino Acids with a profile resembling human milk and its potential benefits for neurotransmitter and hormone health, I was intrigued. However, my search for scientific literature to validate these claims, specifically regarding supplementation for adults, yielded no substantial evidence. It is advisable to approach the claims made for adult supplementation with a degree of skepticism.While consuming these amino acids while adhering to the recommended dosage will not cause harm, it’s important to keep in mind that the evidence supporting their specific benefits in adult supplementation is lacking. The pills themselves are relatively small when it comes to amino acid supplements, they are slightly larger than your typical herbal supplement, making them easy to swallow. The recommended dosage is four capsules, two times daily, which to is not excessive for amino acid supplements.One aspect that left me somewhat disappointed was the shelf life of the product I received. It had only five months remaining, which is relatively short compared to other supplements. Considering the dosage and recommended daily intake, a longer shelf life would have been preferable.** Warning / Disclaimer ** — It is important to always do your own research when it comes to taking supplements of any kind. Make sure you are getting your information from a variety of trustworthy sources based on peer-reviewed studies and medical information, such as the official site for PubMed. Very Nice Blend Of Amino Acids
Though I eat incredibly healthy and have for many years, as you get older the body just doesn’t digest proteins as easily as when you are young… so I started taking free-form amino acids several years ago and feel it has made a difference.This seems to be a good quality product… no common allergens and no preservatives… and the balance of amino acids is very nice.My only complaint is it also contains flow agents (magnesium stearate & silica). Many supplement manufacturers are moving away from using flow agents, as people who take numerous supplements each day can get a heavy load of them… and heavy consumption of flow agents can trigger digestive issues. That said, it is not a deal breaker as almost all amino acid products contain at least one flow agent.The capsules are typical size and easy to swallow… with just a very faint Sulphur odor, but that is from the N-Acetyl-Cysteine in the supplement, which will always have that smell. There are some less expensive alternatives on the market, but this is a quality product.

Energy and sleep seem to be improving
As others have mentioned in their reviews, there is still not a lot of evidence to support taking supplements such as these, for adults. However, I am willing to try anything that has, at least some, science behind it, to help improve my quality of life.Ever since I began taking these, I have noticed an increase in my energy. That is very important to me, as I am the father of a young child, and I am not that young myself. I, honestly, would get really exhausted, after a short amount of time playing with my son. However, in the past week, I have noticed that I am not getting tired, as fast, as I was prior to taking these aminos.I have also noticed that my sleep seems to be a bit more productive. I have had sleeping issues for about 10 years now, and have made alterations to my life, to help make my sleep actually help me. I still wake up not fully rested, despite getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep a night. After taking these for a little more than a week, I am noticing that I am not as drained when I first wake up. I actually can go a little longer in the day before I begin to start yawning. So it seems that, perhaps, these are beneficial to adults. More research is needed, as everyone is different, and not everyone is going to react to things at the same levels as others.I took a star off because of the smell. It has a sulphur smell to it, that others have mentioned. While it is to be expected, given the makeup of the pills, it is still a bit off-putting. At first, I thought the pills had gone bad, but I researched about the ingredients, and found that it should, in fact, have that smell. So, just a fair warning to those of you who have very weak stomachs, when it comes to smells.All in all, if you think aminos can benefit your quality of life, these aminos from Hardy are a good start. It is a company that has been around for over 10 years, so it is easier to trust their quality.

As my husband ages, he noticed work out. Recovery time is a little longer. He’s taking a number of amino acid supplements in the past, and is always open to trying new products. He started taking this product on a Monday and by Thursday he said he saw significant improvement in muscle soreness (post recovery), overall muscle weakness improved, he was experiencing deep sleep (tracked through sleep tracking device). Overall ingredients are straightforward and good quality.It’s one of those products you don’t realize you need until you try it. He’s on his second bottle and will continue to take this!

I have to go in for surgery, so I got these
My diet is not the best even when I’m not under the weather so the fact that my bodies gonna need to repair itself after I get done with the surgery I wanted to be able to give it everything possible so I can recover as fast as possible, and these were recommended to me by my doctor be aware though that this does contain phenylalanine, which is a natural occurring amino acid that some people have an issue with it, so if you are not sure if you’ve ever had fun leveling before Google it and you’ll be surprised when it turns up in anyways there’s 240 capsules in this container will need two months and I don’t think I will need it anymore after that, but it will give me a good head start towards helping my body to heal. I know that for sure. You’re welcome. 🙂
