Quality product, know how it affects your medications
I like that the label clearly indicates it’s testing protocol. Messing with metals is something I want to be very careful about. It does seem to follow strict protocol for high quality.I haven’t noticed a huge difference in how I feel or any specific health or energy benefits as yet, but it can take time to work from what I’ve read.You MUST be cognizant of when you are taking it and how it affects your medication. For me, it’s a bit tricky. I take thyroid medicine first thing each day, and the recommendations by the medical field is to wait four hours before taking this supplement to avoid potential interference. Since it’s best taken on an empty stomach, that makes the timing tricky. At this point I take it in the afternoon between meals, not the ideal timing given the morning is when I need the energy.The taste isn’t bad. I generally consume it off the spoon and drink liquid afterwards, as I’m often taking it on a work break. It doesn’t really have a noticeable smell. It’s very sticky, so watch those strings. It can get on the edges and make the lid stick. But that’s to be expected with this type of texture.

Sticky, Earthy, Woodsy Himalayan Shilajit Resin without Heavy Metals
Full disclosure: I’m a shilajit noob. I went into this with zero experience. Now I’ve been using this Himalayan shilajit resin for a few weeks, and overall I’m pleased with it. The way that I use it, I barely notice taste issues and it’s easy to mix. As you don’t use much of the resin, a small amount goes a long way… the jar lasts quite a while.Here are a few quick impressions of the resin. First, it’s a small bottle, but you don’t use much. Upon opening, I had some serious stretchy mozzarella strands going on, which made setting the lid down a little awkward. This stuff is stretchy, and even when using the included golden scoop, it’s a little messy. Then there’s the smell. There’s a very warmed/burned wood scent, mixed with earthiness and a slightly sweet smell. My mind immediately imagined a woodworking shop, misted by incense, in Nepal. Well, the smell to me is somewhere around that.So here’s what I tried. First, I did the warm water method (tea works too). Using the fancy golden tool, I got a pea-sized amount and got it into a cup of very warm water. I stirred it for about 30 seconds, then drank it. As I understand it, this is the standard method. It was certainly easy. The resin dissolved quickly, was easy to drink, and still had a bit of that woodsy earthy taste. I next tried it in coffee. I followed the same steps as the warm water method, but with coffee. This helps hide the flavor quite a bit, and if you drink coffee daily then this would maybe work best for you. Honestly, I didn’t really notice the resin. Lastly, I tried the hardcore under-the-tongue method. I put a little bit under my tongue… kind of weird… and waiting a few seconds for it to soften, then chased it with water. It’s fast, but the taste is full-on and the stickiness is real.Coffee is the way for me.Despite the stickiness, it’s still pretty easy to use. It dissolves smoothly in warm water or coffee without leaving grit behind. There’s the earthy and strong scent and taste, which is sort of mystical. And it’s good news that it is lab-tested for purity, doesn’t have fillers (one ingredient only), and is heavy metal free (but it’s ok, I can still listen to heavy metal while drinking). This is a bit of an exotic touch to add to my daily coffee routine, and I will stick with it. Recommended.

Hoping for energy
This is such a weird substance lol, when I scoop it out it reminds me of the comic book character, Venom. It dissolves great in warm/hot liquid. I put mine in hot cocoa usually and it doesn’t take long to dissolve and I don’t end up tasting this at all which is a relief.I like the little container jar it comes in and the cute, small spoon.From my experience, I don’t really notice a difference though. I saw someone say this works like an energy drink for them and I wish I would have that experience. Maybe I am supposed to take this daily and after weeks, I start to feel effects? I was hoping I could just take it every other day and feel effects the days I take it but so far, I haven’t. I haven’t experienced any bad side effects thankfully so I will continue use and update my review if needed on if it starts giving me the energy boost I’m wanting.

Caution if you have endocrine issues or sensitivity to anything
The seal “for your protection” came off with the cap, so I’m not sure it was actually sealed. When I put the cap back on and re-removed the cap, the seal stuck to the jar and it kept flaking apart when I tried to remove the seal. The product has a very earthy and mineral-y, almost alcohol smell. It is very bitter. It is a resin, so it is very thick, like tar consistency. I tried the tiniest amount, about the size of a pencil tip in a little water. Within 30 minutes, I felt unnerved, and uncomfortable, not the type of energy boost I was expecting. The product boasts two different lab verified purity claims (two claims, one from one sample and one from another, not from the same sample). They don’t name the lab that was used and there is no way for a regular consumer to verify. I find it questionable. I won’t be trying it again.

This Shilajit Resin Really Gives You Energy, Endurance, And Better Mental Focus
This is the first Himalayan Shilajit Resin I’ve ever tried, and I’m completely impressed. I take a pea sized glob and add a glob of Manuka honey onto the spoon that’s included, and it actually tastes pretty good. I initially tried a glob by itself, and it tasted like dark hot fudge topping with about the same consistency. It was pretty good, but adding Manuka honey to the spoon really makes it taste great. It is a resin, so it’s very sticky, gooey, and thick. But it’s easy to swallow without any aftertaste or stomach issues.About 10-15 minutes after taking it, I feel more energized, more alert, and have much greater mental focus. It makes me feel really good with the same energy as coffee, but without any jitters or caffeine crash. I also haven’t felt any effects of being overstimulated like I have with too much coffee.This Shilajit Resin has 85+ trace minerals, 75% fulvic acid, and is heavy metal free. It’s a high-quality resin that’s easy to take once you find your preferred mix. I haven’t tried mixing it with liquids because I think that the sweetness of the Manuka honey balances it nicely. Definitely worth the money for all of the benefits, and I highly recommend. I’m planning on buying more because I’m so pleased with the effects.
