    Great Product / Ingredient

    GU includes Branched Chain Amino Acids in their Roctane Gels. …. but what if you aren’t fueling with gels. This is the perfect answer. I had to pay attention to the dosage. The caps are about as large as I can manage while running. Everyone should self-experiment & evaluate – but I can absolutely tell the difference using / not using these just before and during endurance [multi-hour] training runs & racing.

    Decent endurance drink from GU

    This is a lot like Tailwind, but with BCAAs added to it. Lots of sugars. Basically combines electrolytes, carbs and BCAAs into one, eliminating the need to carry gels, salt tabs, and BCAAs. By the way, I find BCAAs to help with muscle fatigue in endurance events longer than a marathon. Downside is it has lots of sugar. If I don’t supplement this with water and solid food in 50+ mile events, I will get the sugar bombs in my stomach. Good endurance drink, but don’t look to this as a single solution for ultramarathons and Ironman events.

    These capsules work

    I was having a problem with my legs cramping while backpacking even though I was well hydrated. I started using these GU capsules throughout the day while hiking and the cramps no longer happen. I highly recommend this product.
