Excellent Immune System Protection
Through the years, I’ve found that grapefruit is one of the best things that I’ve come across to boost my immune system. As much as I love eating grapefruit, it’s not always available to me or I’m just not up for eating one. I do drink lots of grapefruit juice, but that too doesn’t always suit my circumstances. Here is when a little capsule comes to the rescue.Whether you take these on a regular basis or every once in awhile to get that extra surge of immunity help, these really work very well. I started to come down with a low grade infection and made sure that I took these. They kicked that thing right out of my system and it never came back.Excellent option for improving and maintaining good health.*If you take any sort of prescription drugs, I highly suggest that you consult with your doctor regarding any sort of grapefruit usage due to the fact that it can interact with your meds. At very least, don’t take them at the same time.

Great for my digestion and liver
I try to eat clean and healthy using fresh fruits and vegetables but there are times when I’m too busy or away from home and unable to eat fresh. These capsules come in handy during those times. The are average size, easy to swallow and have no taste. I am taking them to help with my digestion/gut health and when I want to do a liver detox. I also get the added benefit of improving my immune system while taking these. l’m glad I only have to take one a day (vs multiples) since I’m not a fan of taking capsules. I also like the lower dose because I’m a petite female and usually take less than the manufacturer suggests. This company lists some great attributes in their descriptions (Non GMO, made in the USA and tested), however, I unable find any of the markings/labels on the bottle to back this up. I always look for these markings on my supplements.

This product contains 180 capsules, and at 1 capsule per serving, that will last me nearly six months – an excellent value.The capsules are easy to swallow and have no after-taste, and no side effects. And I’m glad it’s only one capsule per serving – helps to keep down the number in the handful of supplements I swallow every day.As a little added bonus – they threw in a travel pill case with my order.

Love this Company!
This is a fabulous company so I feel good about trying anything from them. If you’re unfamiliar with them then I encourage you to check them out online. I started taking GSE almost ten years ago after finding out I have Lyme. There are ups & downs to taking it so do your own research there, but I believe it has helped me (especially in the beginning). I’ve never had any obvious issues with taking it, and this one is no exception. If the price is right, then get it!

Lots Of Benefits With Some Caveats
I love grapefruit, I mean, the fruit with its pulp. I also like the Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) as it has many benefits as an antioxidant, as an antimicrobial and It is especially good for cold and sore throat treatments. It is also beneficial for the liver and kidney functions, and it helps regulate blood pressure, among other benefits. However, one needs to be cautious as it has some undesirable side effects. It interferes with some enzymes that metabolize some medicines in our body, thus changing their expected concentrations and life time; for example: statins, benzodiazepines, and others. Amazingly enough, it may also alter the metabolism (the breakdown) of estrogen in both men and women, making it take longer to be flushed out of the system (while newly produced estrogen is being produced). It may also be harmful to our gut’s good bacterium. But it all depends on the dose and for how long it is consumed.I do consume GSE but never exceed the recommended dosage and cycle it for a few weeks. This way, I make the benefits outweigh the potential downsides.While I like this GSE, I would be grateful if Longlifenutri had it tested by an accredited third-party lab for quality and content, which has now become industry best practice.

Good superfood and good lengthy supply
I like adding superfood supplements to my diet, and this one is particularly easy and is a good value. The pill is an appropriate size and a serving size is only one pill. So, while some supplement bottles with 180 tablets only amount to a short supply, this one is actually a six-month supply. I also appreciate that they don’t add any surprises to it. Sometimes you’ll see some bonus niacin or D3, which complicates things if you’re taking other supplements or vitamins (some vitamins can be harmful in large doses). This doesn’t have any of that, so it’s just a healthy food without the risks around mixing it with whatever else you’re taking.Update 9/6/23 – I’ve been taking this for a while now. I take a lot of supplements and every once in a while I notice something significant. I’m 43 but I’m noticing my knees and ankles are feeling really good lately, like I’m walking on air. I looked at the various supplements I’m taking and I think I can only trace it back to this one. This is known to help with arthritis, so maybe it’s working a miracle on my joints.
