These gummy vitamins claim that they will help rebuild and strengthen skin, nails, and hair. They have several ingredients which together tackle all of these goals. Dry skin, brittle nails, and lackluster hair are all things that no one wants, so we ordered these to see how they would do. The jury is still out. With the change of seasons, the weather has not cooperated with the effort to nourish skin, hair, and nails, so that should be considered.The good thing is that there have been no negative side effects or stomach issues. However, there has been one sticky issue: these gummies are a little gooey once you chew into them. They taste fine, though pretty strong and slightly bitter. That is not to say that they taste bad, just that they do take a little getting used to. But for anyone who hates taking pills, these gummies would be a welcome change. When the folate acid kicks in, hopefully it will show up as more subtle and strong hair. When the vitamin A, C, D, E, B6 and B12 kick in, perhaps it will result in smoother, healthier skin. And when the Biotin kicks in, hopefully we will have stronger and healthier nails.As with any supplement, you really should consult your doctor to be sure you won’t have any adverse reactions. In the meantime, if you “stick” to it, these gummies are recommended as a good source of all these vitamins.

There is nothing wrong with this vitamin supplement. The flavor and texture of the supplement are fine. It is sweetened with glucose, the body’s natural sugar. The amount suggested from clinical trials to improve finger nail and hair growth is 2500 mg per day. (Two hundred times more.) Two gummies contain 2 mg of silicon according to the label. The recommended dose for this purpose would be 10 mg of elemental silicon or 21 mg of silica.Thus, these are likely fine as a supplement, but are not really configured well for their stated use. Anyone reporting improved nails in 4 weeks is likely imagining the results. Sorry. If you are taking these or other supplements for nail health, expect it to take 8 weeks to see the first signs of improvement and 4 – 6 months to really tell if things are better.
