    Great Protein Powder with a Light Peanut Butter Flavor!

    I’ve tried quite a few protein powders over the years, and this GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey 2.0 in Peanut Butter is one of my favorites. If you enjoy peanut butter flavor, you’ll probably love this one. It has a rich, creamy taste that’s not overly sweet or artificial tasting.The powder mixes easily with water or milk and doesn’t leave behind a bunch of clumps. I’ve been using it after workouts and sometimes as a quick breakfast when I’m in a hurry.With 25 grams of protein per serving, it’s a simple way to add extra protein to my diet and support my fitness goals. I also appreciate that it’s gluten-free and easy on my stomach.The peanut butter flavor is great on its own, but it also tastes amazing blended into smoothies with a banana or mixed into overnight oats.One thing buyers should be aware of is that this product contains milk. If you are lactose sensitive or have a dairy intolerance, this may not be the best protein powder for you.     Very smooth, great flavor

    I love this protein powder! It’s a whey isolate so the powder is super fine and dissolves without clumping. The whole thing stays very smooth and easy to chug. I usually have 3-4 scoops over the course of a day and it’s very important to me that my protein powders go down easy like this one. The peanut butter flavor is nice and pleasant, and doesn’t taste sickeningly sweet. The macros are great as well, very easy to reach my protein goals regardless of how awful my diet is when I have this. I haven’t had any digestive issues either, so I’d definitely recommend this if you are looking for a smooth and tasty protein powder.

    So good!

    This has a really nice peanut butter flavor! I’ve mixed it with almond milk for a shake and I made some into the marshmallow style protein bars that turned out really good! It’s almost like a butterfinger flavor when mixed with sugar-free butterscotch pudding mix. I just bloomed the pack of pudding in 2 cups of high protein milk and heated it up until it all dissolved. Then I added the hot liquid and 3 scoops of this protein powder in my stand mixer, scraping down the sides a couple times, until it was fluffy (about 10 minutes) and put it in an 8×8 baking pan lined with parchment. Refrigerate until firm, and cut into pieces. I didn’t bother doing a coating, but it’s the best dessert replacement I’ve found!Great macros, gut-friendly, and a nice flavor without the chalky texture. Color me a fan!

Each scoop packs 25g of protein along with all 9 essential amino acids and a solid dose of BCAAs, which is exactly what tired muscles need after a tough session.The texture is smooth and mixes easily, no chalky clumps or desperate spoon-stirring required. Honestly, getting it to blend is almost the easiest part of my entire workout routine. The peanut butter flavor is spot-on, rich and satisfying without being overpowering, so if peanut butter is your thing, you will be very happy here.That said, the ingredient list is not the cleanest or purest out there, which is worth keeping in mind if you are particular about what goes into your body. It is an acceptable trade-off given the protein content and convenience, but those seeking a minimalist formula may want to look elsewhere. Fitness enthusiasts and athletes who want reliable, foundational sports nutrition will get the most out of this.

    Not bad, but the peanut butter flavor is muted

    I was eager to try this GNC peanut butter whey protein, as I always get chocolate and would like some variety. It’s a little disappointing. The taste isn’t bad, it’s just that it’s not very peanut buttery- it’s like a watered down peanut butter taste, even when I use less water to mix it. Other than that, it mixes up fine and doesn’t have a lumpy texture. GNC products always carry a premium price but this one is more blunted as long as you wait for a promotion, which seems to be common.The value for money is ok- not terrible but certainly not good either given the comparable choices available. Overall, this probably deserves 3.5 stars, but the cost per serving and muted peanut butter flavor pull it to a 3 given my choices.

    Good protein, but the peanut butter flavor is pretty mild

    This is a good protein powder overall. When mixed well, it blends pretty smoothly and isn’t overly clumpy, which makes it easy to mix into a shake.My biggest disappointment is the peanut butter flavor. I was expecting a much stronger peanut butter taste, but it’s actually quite light. It’s also not overly sweet, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if you prefer a more subtle flavor. However, if you’re specifically buying the peanut butter flavor because you want a strong peanut butter taste, I’d keep your expectations in check.That said, I still like the flavor enough that I could see myself alternating it with some of the other flavors. I may just add a little extra peanut butter to my shakes to boost the flavor.Overall, it’s a solid protein powder with good mixability and a pleasant, not-too-sweet taste. Just don’t expect a particularly strong peanut butter flavor.

    Mixes easy, tastes good but flavor is not quite peanut butter

    GNC and its supplements have been around forever – I remember seeing them and buying stuff from the mall going back decades.But it usually hasn’t been my go-to protein powder brand.This peanut butter flavor is a strong option, and has the benefit of being low fat and low carb, so you can make it work with your macros regardless of the diet plan you’re on. I’m typically lower carb to this is perfect.The powder blends easily in a regular shaker, no clumping and minimal foaming – although the reason for the low foaming is actually the reason it loses a star. Silicone. It’s the last ingredient and it’s only present to prevent foaming. I’d rather have some foaming and deal with that than ingest silicone with any regularity. Kinda gross regardless of being FDA approved.The flavor is also not really peanut butter. It’s slightly nutty, sure. But it’s more of an ice creamy mild nut flavor, especially with milk. It’s pleasant with just a mild artificial aftertaste. I could drink a lot of this without complaint. But it’s not peanut butter.Price and value is pretty mid level. It’s not crazy expensive for a quality protein but it’s for sure far from cheap. It’s ok.Overall, for a protein powder that has 25g protein in a scoop, mixes easily and tastes pretty good, it’s a safe choice and pretty easy to recommend.My caveats are the flavor and the silicone.

    Great Creamy Peanut Butter Flavor

    This GNC whey protein powder is delicious, especially if you love peanut butter flavors. It mixes really well and tastes creamy and natural. And it tastes equally good with either water or milk as it leaves zero clumps at the bottom in any regular shaker bottle. I don’t feel any heavy or bloated feeling when drinking it, and it digests incredibly smoothly, causing zero stomach discomfort. With 25 servings it covers nearly a month, and has a large amount of protein per serving. Overall this protein powder functions perfectly as a quick morning shake or a post-workout recovery drink and is one I look forward to drinking.
