This product is not effective for those looking to modify uric acid levels or treat gout
I tried this product for two months as I have elevated uric acid(and gout symptoms). The first month I took this product as directed with no other dietary changes and experienced uric acid levels ranging from 4.1 to 10.8 throughout the month(UASure II meter), one test of 6.3 from a lab. The second month I maintained a strict purine restricted diet while taking this product as directed. The second month I saw essentially the same results as the first month for my uric acid tests. These results were in the same range as tests before consuming this product. This product is reminiscent of a product called “Garlique”, which “supports healthy cholesterol levels”. Note that you must already have healthy cholesterol levels for this product to “support” them(As part of my profession I review advertising for false and misleading content for specific products and services so I have learned to pay a little closer attention to what is being advertised). This product “Drop Acid” may also “support” healthy uric acid levels in those with healthy uric acid levels but it will not improve existing levels.I have watched all of Dr. Perlmutter’s interviews on this subject on Youtube but this product is certainly disappointing in the results observed.

I am always skeptical about spending money on supplements, yet I gave this one a try, and I’m happy I did. I read the book “Drop Acid” and thought this might help me. I noticed an overall improvement in how I felt, and after about 4-5 weeks started slowly dropping some stubborn weight even though I wasn’t “dieting.” I will continue to take this one.

Great supplement with the ease of having several vitamins I take all in one tablet. I have used Garden of Life supplements for around 10 years now. Trust worthy company with quality ingredients. Tablets are kind of large but I have bo problem swallowing them. I take this one as an immune builder supplement.
