Great product. A “sleeper” in the vitamin world.
This is, actually, a great product! I’ve been accustomed to taking the gel form for many years. This, capsule, format with dry contents was a new one for me. I’ve been using it for a month and find it much easier on the system and feel the effects more quickly and for a more sustained period. The formulation seems to equal any of the others out there at a more competitive price. The ease of assimilation was a very pleasant surprise. How they’re doing it, I don’t know, but I think they’ve done a fine job. Perhaps it is that they put their money into developing the product rather than marketing. Clearly, they’ve put time and effort into making a top notch product. Reminds me of Rainbow Light from the early days. I’m switching from earlier brands I’ve used to this one.

Great supplement and company!
I had done a lot of research on the best Vitamin E supplement to take since my acupuncture/TCM doctor suggested it as I prepare for pregnancy. E helps strengthen egg quality. Gamma E’s dosage and combination of tocopherols is exactly what I was looking for. All the types are necessary (tocopherol actually comes from the Greek: “tocos” is child and “pherol” means to bring or bear). The shipment came quickly and the capsule size is easy to take. At 400mg each, I take one the morning and one in the evening. In the month that I’ve been taking it, I’ve noticed that my skin, hair and nails are stronger/smoother–I trust my insides look good too 🙂 But this seems to be a great company that cares about it’s health products and provides excellent customer service. A week after my order arrived, the company emailed me to make sure everything was ok and if I had any questions–that was unexpected and appreciated!

i didn’t know vitamin e came in a powder…
but now that i’ve tried this i’m happy because they don’t stick together or get stuck to my other capsules as it’s a capsule with a dry powder formula. cool!

Writing reviews for vitamins and supplements is often really difficult; most things aren’t supposed to have a dramatic (or even noticeable) effect. Vitamin E is a massively important antioxidant, and it’s one that is often impossible to find in the right form and without nasty soybean oil (which is prone to rancidity, by the way, and should be avoided).It’s very easy to find cheap (and largely ineffective) forms of vitamin E in pharmacies and even online. This brand is the first one I was able to find that not only does not use soybean oil, but also has mostly Gamma tocopherols, which is the form you want (and which is often missing or in microscopic doses in other brands).Mixed Natural Tocopherols are the ideal form of vitamin E (preferably with a high Gamma-tocopherol content) rather than the synthetic Tocopherols (mostly Alpha form) that are found in most vitamin E brands. Gamma-Tocophernol is a potent peroxynitrite scavenger (a function that is incredibly important – excessive peroxynitrite is hypothesized to be involved in chronic disease states). Unfortunately, high alpha-Tocopherol content (cheaper and most commonly found forms) actually tend to reduce the levels of Gamma-Tocopherol in the body which reduces the body’s peroxynitrite scavenging abilities. So, paradoxically, taking most common forms of vitamin E can actually impair the body’s functioning rather than helping it.Generally, vitamin E is fat-soluble, meaning that you need to consume it along with a fatty meal to properly absorb it. This form seems to have improved absorption and doesn’t require a fatty meal. Just to be safe, I generally take it when I’m eating something fattier like avocado, yogurt, chili, etc…I’m really impressed that there are no fillers; the only 2 other ingredients are: gelatin and rice powder. How great to finally find a vitamin E without those other nasty oils and additives!
