    Regenerative Organic Certified and Made in the USA

    Our family has used Gaia brand for a long time. We appreciate what they value and stand for–regenerative and sustainable organic farming practices, good soil quality, independently owned and operated in the U.S., and oversight of their products from soil to bottle.From their website: “We use only the best parts of the plant & ensure our products are free of heavy metals, pesticides, and chemicals. Our supplements are made with organic, non-GMO ingredients when available, and packaged in glass jars for quality and sustainability.”These drops are just lemon balm and gingko, with added water and alcohol for carriers. They have a mildly lemon flavor and are not offensive. It’s too soon to say if they make a difference, but there is nothing negative. We highly recommend that you don’t take the tincture straight from the bottle. The drops are meant to be put in water and then consumed; 2.5 dropperfuls is a serving. Even half a dropperful taken directly under the tongue can be too strong.Gaia seems like a brand that can be trusted, and that says a lot these days.

    Product calms me, price does not

    I like these Lemon Balm drops because they help calm me, and are faster acting than taking the pill form. I usually take tinctures sublingually (under the tongue) but wow! This is bitter, somewhat burning stuff. Highly diluted in a beverage is required for this product.I take this during the day to calm me when I am anxious or nervous, or in the evening to slow any racing thoughts.I can’t speak for the Ginkgo, as I do not have any problems with my memory or circulation.1 star off for being rather expensive for only 16 servings

    Quality Product, But Only 16 Servings

    Gaia Herbs is a brand I trust for quality herbal supplements, and I love that this is Regenerative Organic Certified—big A+ for that. The lemon flavor is pleasant, and since the directions suggest adding it to water, I’m guessing it’s intended to be fairly concentrated.My issue is the value. The suggested serving is 2.5 droppers, which means this little 1 oz bottle contains only about 16 servings. At just under $20, that’s over $1 per serving and doesn’t even get you through a month.I think it’s a quality product with ingredients I feel good about taking, but yikes … for something I’d want to use regularly, it’s simply too expensive for me.

    Strong!

    Oof this stuff is STRONG and that was with taking it in water as suggested! It has a very strong taste, a little bitter but mostly herby. I just took a dose and the aftertaste has an almost tea-like taste to it. Not an unpleasant taste afterwards but upon drinking it’s strong. The first time I took it I mixed it in enough water for 3 big sips but ended up dumping out the third sip because I didn’t think I could take it haha. I hope that means quality herbs because I just got another supplement that has lemon balm and many more herbs and it did have a little bit of an herby flavor but mostly felt like I was drinking sweetened water compared to this!

    Brain health

    The Gaia Herbs lemon balm and ginkgo herbal supplement comes in a dark amber bottle, contains 1 fluid ounce of product, and has a mild minty flavor. This formula contains organic lemon balm and ginkgo leaf and the serving size is 2 and a half droppers per day. Lemon balm reduces anxiety, improves sleep, boosts cognition, and soothes digestion. Ginkgo leaf has terpenoids that help widen blood vessels and improve blood flow to the brain. This herb also has flavanoids that provide antioxidant support protecting cells from damage. This supplement supports brain health aiding memory and focus while also relieving vertigo, leg pain, and tinnitus.

    I Love Gaia Herbs, But This One Didn’t Impress Me

    I’ve used Gaia Herbs products for over a year and really like and trust the brand, but unfortunately this particular formula isn’t one of my favorites.The biggest issue for me is the tincture itself. The alcohol taste is very strong, and I honestly don’t find it pleasant at all. The serving is also two full droppers, so that’s quite a bit of strongly flavored tincture to get through each time.I was interested in the combination of lemon balm and ginkgo for the advertised focused-calm concept. I understand the idea of combining something traditionally associated with calming support with an herb commonly used in cognitive supplements, but personally I wasn’t blown away by the results. I didn’t notice enough of a difference in my focus to make the taste and dosing worthwhile for me.At around $20 at the time of my review, the price isn’t unreasonable for a quality herbal tincture, particularly from a brand I’ve had good experiences with. This specific formula and format just aren’t something I’d personally purchase again.Pros 👍- From a brand I’ve used and trusted for over a year- Lemon balm and ginkgo combination is interesting- Regenerative Organic Certified- Vegan, gluten-free and Non-GMO Project Verified- Can be mixed into another beverageCons 👎- Very strong alcohol taste- Two droppers per serving feels like a lot- Didn’t notice enough improvement in focus to impress me- Around $20 feels less worthwhile when I don’t enjoy taking it- I’d prefer a different delivery format

    Gaia Herbs is a very reputable company that I have purchased many supplements from over the years, and this Lemon Balm & Ginkgo tincture is another outstanding product. Knowing they have over 35 years of experience and carefully oversee every single step from soil to supplement gives me absolute peace of mind. The ingredient quality here is top-tier. I highly appreciate that this formula uses organic and non-GMO ingredients, carrying both the Regenerative Organic Certified and Non-GMO Project Verified seals. It is also completely vegan and gluten-free. Finding clean, pure brain support supplements with this level of strict quality control can be tough, but Gaia Herbs always delivers. The liquid tincture format is incredibly convenient and easy to use. The dropper works perfectly, allowing me to drop it directly under my tongue for maximum absorption. As for the flavor, the taste is tolerable and really doesn’t taste that bad at all, especially for a potent herbal extract.
