These black garlic extract softgels come in a resealable pouch. It’s a little less convenient since my other supplements are in bottles but I suppose it’s less plastic waste for the environment. The expiration date is about 3 years from when I received the product, so there’s plenty of time to use it even if not taking daily. I like that these were manufactured in a GMP-complient facility and that it was tested by a third party — though the information about the testing results weren’t listed. I couldn’t find the country of origin on the product page or on the printed pouch; however, the amazon label says it’s made in China (see attached photo–I removed the barcode from the photo). I didn’t notice any odor when opening the package and there wasn’t any taste from the black softgel, which is about 13mm long and a little under 9mm in diameter. It’s generally easy to swallow, though I occasionally have trouble with softgels in general (they get stuck in my throat) compared to capsules. I haven’t noticed any side effects. Value for money: at about $0.12 each it seems good value though there are other comparable items available for less.

I picked these up out of curiosity, cause I really love black garlic.Pros: if you don’t like the taste or smell of garlic, the softgels do an excellent job blocking that completely. They’re smaller than gelcaps, so easier to swallow. Because it’s a concentrate, you get more of whatever is supposedly beneficial.Cons: there are no large scale double blind studies. Sure, I haven’t had a heart attack since I started taking them, but I also haven’t been attacked by any sharks since I switched my phone from Moto to Samsung. Black garlic taste so good, I’d rather eat it and at least I’ve had a good meal even if there aren’t any actual health benefits. Also, black garlic being fermented is a popular misconception: it’s slow cooked over an extended stretch of time, but not fermented. This calling it fermented makes me even more skeptical of any claims. They also have beeswax in the softgels, which is unusual, so be aware of that if you’re allergic. Or vegan or something.My conclusion: just get actual black garlic and make the best tasting garlic bread you’ve had in your life

Great Black Garlic Supplement
I got this black garlic supplement to help with my heart and cardio system. Through research I have found that this and hydrogen water are supposed to be the best things to fight plaque in your arteries so I am giving them a combined try. They are very easy to take and the 120 softgels are a great value when it makes a 60 day supply. I have had no digestive issues or negative side effects and no bad breath or burps from the garlic. There is also no bad taste or smell. Hoping they are effective though there will never be aby way to tell.
