Great for animals with skin problems
This product is not only great for healthy pets, but it has worked wonders for my bulldog who has skin allergies. We give him one pump at every meal, and the 3V combined with other factors like bi-weekly allergy shots and baths 2x a week have made him “comfortably itchy” which the allergy vet said is the best that he will ever be! If he does have a flair up, the 3V helps his skin heal.His coat is so shiny and healthy. When we take him to the dog park, you can literally tell the difference of which dogs get 3V and which do not just by looking at their coat.My only complaint (and the reason why I docked it a star) is because while the pump is more convenient than the “pills” for those of us who have dogs who will not take the pill, the oil seems to get everywhere after a while! Every pump I buy ends up with the oil running down the sides and stinking everything up. And that smell stays with you too!But this fact is obviously one of those things that I will deal with because it has had such great benefits for my dog!

Good for my dogs skin
I have been using these for years for golden retrievers I have. These capsules are good for keeping their skin nice and healthy and their coats are nice and shiny. When I use these, they scratch very little so I know their skin is not dry. The only drawback is they won’t eat these whole and obviously cannot get them to swallow them with their water so I end up piercing them with a knife and squeezing the oil onto their food. Most of the times they squeeze straight into the bowl; once in a great while it squeezes sideways and I end up wiping up oil from my counter.

Helped two of my dogs with their skin conditions
My vet recommended these to me for my dog many years ago for skin dryness many years ago and they really work! It takes about two months to take effect, but they really turned around her itching and dandruff to just about a normal skin condition! Now I am giving my current dog these after she developed a problem (from being shaved in the summer) and the exact same thing, two months to take effect and it cured the itching and dry skin! We tried baths, lotions, and medications from the vet. None of that worked and now she won’t go near the bathroom in fear of baths! She actually loves these Omega-Caps in her food. She just chews them up. These are different than just giving your dog fish oil caps, because they have both omega 3s and 6s.

Good Decision in Adding to My Pups Diet
I was pleased to find Omega-Caps for Large & Giant Dogs for my six year old English Mastiff. The concentrate is high in these tablets making it nice that I only have to give my pup two caps a day-one at each meal and meaning that one bottle will last a few months. My big guy seems to be benefiting from the Omega Caps adding to his daily regiment of Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex which helps him with his stiff joints and muscles. He has seemed to be able to move better and is livelier than he was before adding Omega Caps. His coat is more lush and shiny since adding the Omega Caps to his diet. The Caps were priced right.

Exceeded expectations!
This product exceeded my expectations. I have a black greyhound who had a lot of skin problems when he came to me last year. Within two weeks of starting this I could see a noticeable improvement to his coat. He’s now starting to get shiny & glossy for the first time! I have to give him regular baths every few weeks to keep the yeast growth to a minimum & I think the addition of this supplement will let me stretch baths out even longer.

Dried out & hard
This is my second purchase of these pills for my senior dog. The first bottle of capsules were plyable, but these are so hard that I’m afraid my dog is going to break a tooth when biting down on a pill. I don’t see any reason gor the difference in the product unless the capsules have been changed or they are old and dried out – making them hard.
