Beware the flush.
I wasn’t aware of the FLUSH. The first time I took them with my breakfast and other supplements. I got prickly skin and it felt like it was sunburning. Good thing the only new item was the Niacin. I looked up Niacin on YouTube and learned about the dragon. If a person has LIVER problems do not use before consulting with your doctor!!!!!

Does provide the required Flush!
So I must say at first I had no reaction. The first 3 days taking it provided no flush or reaction of any sort that I could tell. I’m not sure if this was because of something I was eating with it. Day 4 however on empty stomach set me on fire and the itch kicked in. This is what I was after and had expected. Subsequent days are less of a flush but I do still get one, just not as strong as on day 4. To those who know, you do want the flush and these do get there eventually, or maybe it was just me those first few days. Give it time if you experience the same as I did.

Plus, you know it’s working.Flushing comes on anywhere from 15 minute’s to 45, depending on how long ago you’ve eaten or how much.It’s recommend you eat something (preferably low fat) prior to taking it. It also depends on the dosage as to how much you flush. Flushing last for 20 minute’s up to an hour, again depending on dosage and if you’ve eaten.If you don’t like the heat or flushing, this isn’t for you.I used to take Niacin many year’s ago, I remember I liked the flush then. I started taking it because of a body builder friend of mine recommended it.I only started taking Niacin again ~ this brand a week ago for high cholesterol, so I can’t say if it’s working on lowering my cholesterol and helping my good cholesterol yet. I’ll have blood work redone in a month or so and update.Although I’ve also changed my diet some to help lower my cholesterol, so that too will help. But, I haven’t been diligent about that, lolCutting out foods you love is a tough one, but I’ll get there.If everything I’ve researched is correct, this is the go to supplement if prescribed Statins can’t be or are chosen not to be taken. There’s lots of good information on the web of why “flushing” Niacin is a good choice.

Flushed
I began breaking these tablets in half for the first few days. Glad I did. The first time I took it, the flush was quite intense. I looked like I had a severe full-body sunburn about 20 minutes after taking it. I took it with a healthy meal and an apple. Over the next week, the flushing effect seemed to ease and I worked up to one full tablet per day. The flush now is just a warm tingle and slightly red face and neck. Hopefully this product will show benefits once I get blood work done. Will report back.

Great for reduction of triglycerides
The flush effect is what you want and you will get used to it. It effectively brought my triglyceride levels back to normal. I only take one tablet in the morning on an empty stomach.

Bad reaction
I took one pill and had a really bad reaction to this product. The flushing was so intense that I felt like my whole body was sunburned including my scalp and ears. My skin was tingling and sensitive to the touch, toes turned blue, and I got body shivers. The main portion of the reactions subsided after about an hour, but my head and brain felt off for hours afterwards. Would not recommend.
