This needs instructions. Won’t dissolve
These are in hard cubes. They don’t dissolve and even when I put them thru a coffee grinder, they don’t dissolve to make a tea. There were no instructions so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with them.

This is a very nice nutritional herb called Poria Cocos (Fu Ling). It comes as many white dices with 11 mm in each dimension. At the first glance, this dice looks like starchy food. It is actually white fungus with a lot of beneficial compounds. I have tried to make a herbal tea with 4 pieces of this product. It is very hard to extract the contents. I therefore guess it might be better to cut the cube in even smaller pieces. I have boiled them and incubated for several hours to get a tea with a mushroom-like taste, but it is still clear. The tea is pretty delicious. It tastes like a light soup that is quite smooth and soothing. From literature, you can see that Poria Cocos (Fu Ling) contains triterpenoids, pachymic acid, polysaccharides, choline, and histidine with potential benefits in anti-inflammation, neural protection and digestion health. Since this tea is colorless and with a warm and soothing flavor, it is perfect to mix with other herbs, such as dates, for a combined soothing tea. As printed on the package, the shelf life is.2 years.
