This is one of a few DR Foster products currently in use in my household. I take the 200mg CoQ10 formula alongside other supplements including omegas in a different dosage. So why did I order this product? I’ve been trying to get my other half to include supplements in his daily routine and the more products, the less likely he is to take them. I like that this formula includes a balanced ratio of Omega 3-6-9 in addition to the ingredients in the formula I take. I believe it’s important to take at least Omega 3 & 6 instead of just 3 so this is a plus. Even though the CoQ10 is in the form of Ubiquinone instead of Ubiquinol, I believe the 300mg is a good dose that’ll be effectively be converted by his body to Ubiquinol and he’ll also get the benefit of the other ingredients, all in one daily dose.I trust this brand because I’ve received prompt and thorough replies to any information requests I’ve put forth to the company. It’s important to me to know that I’m getting what’s stated on the bottle. Yes — this is a legitimate-looking formula with some evidence behind the main ingredients, but I would not call the whole product highly effective for “energy and vitality” based on the label alone.My assessment: 7/10The strongest part is the 300 mg CoQ10 + 25 mg PQQ combination.CoQ10 — 300 mg: This is a clinically studied dose and is one of the better-supported ingredients in the bottle. Research suggests CoQ10 can help with fatigue in some people, although effects on energy/exercise performance are inconsistent. �PubMed Central (PMC) +1PQQ — 25 mg: This is close to the 20 mg/day used in human studies. There is some intriguing evidence for cognition, attention and mitochondrial function, but the evidence is still much thinner than for CoQ10. �PubMed +1CoQ10 + PQQ together: This is actually the most interesting aspect of this product. A small placebo-controlled human study using 20 mg PQQ + 300 mg CoQ10 reported improvements in some measures of memory and higher cognitive function. �Regulations.govFlaxseed oil: Only 155 mg, providing 105 mg ALA omega-3. Thoughtful CoQ10 blend
I tried the DrFoster CoQ10 300 mg softgels and feel as though this is a thoughtful blend. It includes omega 3-6-9, vitamin E, PQQ, phytosterois, and black pepper extract. Levels of CoQ10 decline with age but works as an antioxidant in your body and supports your cellular energy and protects from oxidative stress. It is believed that CoQ10 may help with heart health, blood pressure, migraines, bone and joint health as well. The softgels are easy to swallow and I did not experience any side effects while taking them. As far as I am concerned, this is one of those supplements that you take where you may not feel any outward effects, but the work is being done on the inside. The 300 mg of CoQ10 is high enough to address heart health and migraines. I am really just focused on raising my natural level of CoQ10 to maintain overall wellness. I am very happy with the overall quality of the product. One bottle is a 4 month supply, so it’s a good value as well.
