Jam-packed with goodness!
These are great! I appreciate the super high content of Omegas and DHA, especially since I am a perpetually nursing mother! Having nursed 7 babies over 17 years, I know all about needing to restore the fatty acids in my system for my own mental and physical health, as well as that of the baby. This is jam-packed with goodness. It does not seem to make me burp up and is in capsules that are large but easy to swallow.

High Dose Omega 3 – No Fishy Burps
OverallI specifically wanted a higher-dose omega-3 supplement after reading about its potential benefits for cognitive health. I’ve been taking two softgels each evening for about three weeks. So far, I haven’t noticed any significant changes, but I wouldn’t expect noticeable results from a supplement like this in such a short timeframe.Quality & UseThese are standard fish oil softgels and have been easy to take. The biggest advantage for me is what they don’t do: no fishy burps, no unpleasant odor or aftertaste, and no artificial lemon flavor masking the fish oil. I trust Dr. Foster as a supplement brand because of their transparency regarding ingredients and certifications, which is important to me. Keep in mind that this is a high-dose omega-3 product, so it may not be appropriate for everyone. As with any supplement, it’s a good idea to discuss it with your healthcare provider first.

Pretty large, but I have definitely had worse
I got these fish oil supplements to support blood vessel elasticity, and to increase my intake of omegas.I didn’t notice when I first ordered that these require two per day, so this is a bit difficult for me. I do not enjoy eating fish, however, so for me this is an acceptable alternative. I have found I might have success if I split the dose into two doses (one capsule each at lunch and dinner). If I find I cannot fit in the full dose of two softgels per day, it’s my opinion that taking one is better than none and I will eventually build up to continually taking two per day.I have tried other similar fish oil supplements where the size of the softgel was so huge that it went painfully sideways in my throat and nearly choked me. I have also tried to use flax seed softgels and those were equal equally choking. These fish oil softgels are pretty large, but not so much that they have caused that issue…. at least so far.One thing I’m very sensitive about is whether these cause burps that taste like fish. So far, so good….. no fish burps. I am going to give these some time for me to get used to them, because I feel like these are a good quality supplement. For a 60 day supply, these are a good find and value in my book.

Good stuff
These Omega‑3 fish oil capsules are straightforward and pleasant to take. Each one is smooth, well‑formed, and easy to swallow, no rough edges or oversized softgels that make you dread your daily dose. At 2000 mg, the potency is solid, giving you a meaningful amount of fish oil. They hold their shape well, don’t stick together, and have no noticeable fishy smell when you open the bottle. A simple, reliable option if you want a high‑dose Omega‑3 supplement in a clean, easy‑to‑take format.

Might be worth it for reducing total daily pills
Who this is for: Adults who want a fish oil that pulls double duty on fat-soluble vitamin support, or anyone trying to trim down their daily pill count without sacrificing coverage. What I tested: Daily use with meals over several weeks as part of an ongoing supplement routine.Pros:The D3 and K2 combo alongside fish oil is a smart pairing since those vitamins absorb better with fat anyway, so bundling them into a fish oil softgel actually makes practical sense. EPA and DHA numbers per serving are solid for a two-capsule dose. The dark glass bottle is a quality tell that cheaper brands skip. Third-party testing badge on the label adds credibility. Ingredient list is short and clean.Cons:There is an unlisted herbal extract in the other ingredients that does not appear in the supplement facts panel with a disclosed dose. For anyone on blood thinners or similar medications that is worth paying attention to, since the extract in question has known interactions. The vitamin D dose is on the conservative side for people with actual deficiency. EPA and DHA numbers, while decent, do not lead the category at this serving size.Bottom line: A well-packaged combo product with a logical formula and clean label that earns points for transparency in most areas. The undisclosed herbal ingredient dose is worth a look before buying if you are on any medications.
