I can’t say I can notice any difference after taking creatine. I’m taking only one tablet a day, but I read online that some people will take a much higher dose when they start this supplement with 20g loading dose for upto a week. I exercise twice a week and am not too heavy. I’d love to put on a little muscle, or have more strength or energy.These pills are huge. They are about twice the size of other big pills that I take. Taking three creatine pills would be a small meal. I am not having any digestive changes or problems.So, no problems after taking creatine, but no differences or improvements either for me. Everyone is different, so if you try creatine and feel like it makes a difference for you, that’s your benefit.

Easy to swallow, easy to carry; I’m never going back to powder
I’d much rather swallow a pill than deal with mixing creatine powder. So I love that now I have the option using these Dr. Tobias Creatine Monohydrate pills. There’s not much to say about them. They’re BIG tablets, but have a quite smooth semi-shiny coating that makes them easier to swallow than you’d think. They have no taste whatsoever. They leave no residue on hands, even wet/sweaty ones. You could throw some tablets in your pocket for the day and they’d be fine, and your pocket wouldn’t end up with any powder or broken tablets, because they’re so densely packed and solid. This makes them just so much more convenient than traditional powder. One daily serving is three tablets, so I take two in the morning and one in the evening (if I’m not working out), or all three together immediately after lifting. I’m really glad that this option exists otherwise I probably just wouldn’t bother taking creatine at all.

I also appreciate that the formula includes the pyruvate and AKG forms—my stomach seems to handle this blend much better than the straight cheap powder, with zero bloating so far.That being said, you need to be realistic about the size. These tablets are substantial—we are talking “horse pill” territory. The serving size is three tablets to get your full 5 grams, and trying to down all three at once is not a good idea. I have to take them one by one with plenty of water. There is a faint sour smell when you first crack the bottle open, but thankfully they don’t taste like anything when you swallow them.If you travel a lot or just hate the texture of mixed creatine drinks, these are a lifesaver. Just make sure you are comfortable swallowing large vitamins before committing to the bottle.

More Convenient than Powders
I’m still in the loading phase, but I’m hopeful to see some benefits kick in. I’ve always struggled with creatine powders never fully dissolving, that grainy feeling in a drink is super skeevy to me. These capsules completely solve that problem, though they are a bit large. That is ok with me, though, because previous brands I’ve tried, you’d have to take as many as 7 per serving. I’d practically have to skip a meal to accommodate a large number of pills. So, I’ll gladly swallow 3 slightly larger ones, in lieu of 7 smaller ones.I grabbed a pill form, too, for convenience. When traveling for work, it was too hard to figure out how to transport and what to mix powders with to make me not hate the grainy texture. So, I appreciate the pill-form convenience.I find these pills to be relatively easy to swallow, I think because the serving size is smaller they are comparable in price to other brands on the market, and not bad for a 39-day supply. I’ve not experienced any upset stomach or problems with indigestion as of yet, so think that speaks to the quality of the pills. Initially they had a muted bitter taste, but went away quickly and didn’t linger after swallowing.I’m hoping to see gains and improvements with these!

PSA: Don’t expect immediate results, creatine is about consistent dosing with consistent workouts, and even then it is a small boost that helps you lift heavier to get better results, possibly with a slight visible effect, but that would be temporary anyway, the main goal is to push your workouts to get better permanent growth. Drink lots of water!My wife says: These are just as big as horse pills and not easy to swallow, almost choked on it. I like that they don’t have any extra ingredients, but I wish these were in an easy to swallow capsule, not tablet. I tried to show the largeness of these pills compared to my bigger, but easy to swallow, capsules. They are nearly double the size in width compared to my bigger capsules…. can’t really see it on the picture, but in person it’s big. These are probably OK to swallow. If you have a larger throat, I am on the smaller side and pills in general are hard for me. If pills are not hard for you or you can swallow multiple pills at one time, these will probably be a breeze.I say: I easily swallow three at a time, but I have no trouble swallowing any pills. They are pricey for creatine, but the convenience of popping some pills if you kissed your powder dose and don’t have time to mix it up is valuable.These tablets do not have the manufacturing issues gummies have, where most gummies actually break down creatine during manufacture or have short shelf lives.
