High quality fish oil
I have been using other Double wood supplements for over a year and have been pleased. So I am relying on my experience with the brand. I research supplements since I take so many and depend on them. All supplements are not created equally. Double Woods testing indicates they do have the amount of active supplement that is listed on the bottle. You would be amazed at the poor test results of even some of the expensive brands. I have been taking fish oil for several years now. Its one of the most important supplements you can take to reduce inflammation in the body and brain. I thought I would give the Super EPA a try as it is a step up from what I have been taking. So far its been good. No stomach upset or fishy taste. Like other suggest I keep the bottle in the fridge to extend life. As to long term effects of this fish oil I can not say yet but I do trust the product.

Good Brand
Double Wood is a good brand and has a good rating on the SuppCo app. The price seems reasonable for what you get. The almost 2 to 1 ratio of EPA to DHA seems right from what I understand. The total Omega 3 fish oils are below 1 gram total, so it leans to the lower dose end. It uses bovine gelatin which won’t sit right with some, to include vegetarians or pescatarians. I lowered the score 1 star as it doesn’t say that it’s the triglyceride version of fish oil, which it’s my understanding is the natural/superior form of fish oil which is better absorbed. We haven’t noticed any fishy taste or smell. During the few weeks we’ve taken this, I can’t say if there are any noticeable differences, but that’s often the case with supplements. You hope or trust they’re working, but it’s often hard to know for sure.

I got this recently and have been taking for about two weeks now. I’m really not a big believer in supplements but there’s a lot of science behind fish oil and I take it on a regular basis.I also am very cautious of what I put into my body. I did some research on the manufacturer and this is a well known company with a diverse lineup of products and lots of sales. So I feel totally comfortable taking them and also comfortable in the listed ingredients.With that said these seem like other brands of fish oil I’ve used in the past. The pills go down easy and with minimal aftertaste.Price is on par with other manufacturers. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for fish oil.

Fresh, reasonably priced, and a good EPA/DHA formula
I’ve been happy with this omega-3 so far. The softgels appear fresh and have a clean, relatively mild smell, with none of the strong rancid-fish odor that can be a concern with fish oil. Of course, I don’t have laboratory equipment to independently verify purity or oxidation levels, so I’m taking the manufacturer’s third-party testing claims at face value.I also like the EPA/DHA profile. Omega-3 fatty acids are important components of cell membranes and play roles in cardiovascular and other normal physiological functions. EPA and DHA can also help maintain triglyceride levels when consumed in appropriate amounts, making them a useful addition to an otherwise healthy diet.The price is another plus. At around $20 for 90 servings, this seems quite reasonable compared with what I’ve seen at Costco and other major retailers, especially considering the EPA/DHA content per serving.Overall, the product looks and smells fresh, the dosage is clearly listed, and the price is competitive. Assuming the stated testing and potency are accurate, this looks like a solid value for an everyday omega-3 supplement.

Let’s talk fish oil. Hubby takes it. We give it to our dogs. Me…well I have tried so many different brands….yes even the super expensive one you’re probably all thinking of… and no matter what I always get those fishy burps later on. Not sure why as I have no allergies or issues with eating any type of fish. It’s just fish oil itself and apparently my body says NO THANK YOU. Needless to say I do not take fish oil. I do have some arthritis in my lower spine and both my chiropractor and MD tell me I need to be taking fish oil. I’ve hear it for the past 4-5 years. Again my body says NOPE not today. But every very once in a while I think….I know I should be taking fish oil so I find a reputable brand try it and the above scenario plays out.Well this Super EPA from DOUBLE WOOD popped up and I figured WTH it’s been a while since I’ve punished myself with fish burps so why not give these a try.Bottle contains 90 softgels.Lot # and expiration date….06/2028 stamped on bottom of the bottle.Softgels are of average size. Easy to swallow.I tried it the first day and had one fish burp. So I did what has been recommended and put them in the fridge. Surprisingly when I tried them the next day NO BURPS. What sorcery is this?! I have been taking these now for almost two weeks and ZERO side effects. I should note for me and dosing I take two a day. I have been on them a short while and I know many supplements take time for your body to reap the benefits. I personally can not speak to any changes in energy or sleep quality. I will say though that those things have never been an issue for me.I like DOUBLE WOOD supplements and trust them as a brand. I refuse to take any supplement that is not following cGMP, not third party tested or USA made. These things make me feel confident that what I am ingesting is at the purported dosing amounts and free from toxins like mold and heavy metals. DOUBLE WOOD does all those things.Price I feel is more than reasonable. While everyone is different for me being able to actually take any type of fish oil is a game changer so I totally recommend this.

Quality company offering a nice Omega 3 supplement
I recently did a “deep dive” blood test to get more detailed info on my nutrients, cholesterol, metabolic & hormonal blood markers. Discovered that my omega 3 level is lower than recommended, which makes sense as I don’t eat oily fish as often as I should.I have a few different types of fish oil that I’ve been alternating, including salmon, Alaska pollock & cod liver, so this is a nice addition for more variety as it is derived from anchovy, sardine and mackerel.Really the only way I will know how effective it is is if I have that checked again to see if I brought that number up. But I will go with the general recommendation to take a fish oil supplement, especially given that my level was objectively low when I did not take one regularly.This offers a good strength of omega 3, if you are comparing, make sure you check the serving sizes — this one is one capsule, and could equal what 2 capsules of another brand has. That being said, it is a larger capsule so if you have difficulty swallowing pills, you may want to pass on this one.Because I take a lot of supplements, one of the important factors when evaluating one is the safety impurity of the product. This company and its supplements appear on the SuppCo rating app, an independent rating company that rates supplements based on manufacturing standards, quality, testing, and ingredients. In May 2026, Suppco was acquired by Function Health, a company focused on functional health principles and optimizing health to avoid problems before they start.Their “TrustScore” is listed as Average with a 7.64 out of 10 rating.Products are confirmed made in the USA at a cGMP 3rd party certified facility.The brand is NSF certifiedProducts are 3rd party lab tested at ISO accredited testing labs for purity, identity, potency and heavy metals.Lot # and “Exp” date is printed on the bottle.Although this particular product is not yet rated, most of their products (there are many) are rated good to very good, I would expect their same standards would apply to this supplement, and I personally feel confident taking it. There aren’t any fillers, capsule is gelatin.Double Wood has a fully functioning website with full contact information including phone number, and a blog with lots of health articles. Their company focus is on single ingredient supplements so that you can design your own stack. Surprisingly effective for joint pain and inflamation
The older I get, the harder the workouts become. It’s not so much the exercise itself, but recovery afterwords seems to take longer, and there’s more joint pain and swelling involved. So I’ve been looking for some supplements to help turn back the clock, and these do a pretty good job of that. I’ve noticed a reduction in post workout joint pain, and less swelling in problem areas like my wrists and knees. It’s not a magic bullet, it won’t completely eliminate the problem, but it does help a pretty good bit.The label directs you to take it with a meal, ideally a fatty meal. My experience with these has been best following those guidelines, I have one with breakfast, which usually has some fat in it, and I’m good all day. It takes a few days of steady use to see effect.I’ve noticed I sleep better, and I’m not sure if it’s the supplement directly, or the way it reduces discomfort and that creates better sleep as a secondary effect, but either way I wake up better rested.

Reasonable price and good quality
I’m very happy with this fish oil supplement so far, and the price is pretty reasonable. It has good potency… it’s a bit more potent than the previous brand I was taking. I like the fact that you only need one pill for a serving, so the 90 pills will actually last for 90 days. I’m a firm believer in the health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids, and unless you eat fish (particularly fatty fish) on a regular basis each week, it’s a good idea to take a supplement like this one.There is a good amount of both EPA (425mg) and DHA (270mg) in each pill. The pills are “softgels”, but they are not the typical, little oval softgels. They are large, capsule-shaped softgels, but I haven’t had any problems swallowing them. I have noticed that I tend to get some “fish burps” a little while after taking the pill, but I’ve had that with other fish oil supplements in the past as well. Other than that, I have not had any negative effects like stomach discomfort from taking this. I like the fact that these are made in the U.S., and I’ve always been happy with “Double Wood” supplements. I also like that these pills come in a bottle, because the last brand I used came in a pouch, and the bottle is much more convenient.
