High dosage – take with caution
I take Vit D per my doctor’s instructions due to low Vit D levels. These pills are easy to swallow and are very small. I’m actually surprised they are so small as my normal vit d pills are like double the size but same dosage. They go down smooth, too smooth. Sometimes I forget if I actually took it. The combination of the oil and vit k are an excellent addition as it does seem to boost the effectiveness over the regular vit d without those things. I feel my energy levels increasing and feel less … blah when I take these versus my regular pills. The price is very good for these.I will say, the dosage is very high. The bottle says to take once daily; however, 4,000 IU is the normal daily limit for vit d. My vit d levels were in the single digits at my annual blood draw and my doctor only prescribed 5000 IU weekly, so 5,000 IU in 1 tablet to take every day seems very high. I would take with caution if you plan on taking every day and be mindful of overdose side effects.

keeps the calcium out of the heart
I started this combination about 6th months ago after a total hip where I felt it important to add some a calcium (CA) supplement into my mix. I was concerned about the build up of CA in my arteries and heart as well as possible bladder stones. This supplement combination is perfect for mitigating that issue.
