Gave me diarrhea
The problem with taking supplements from companies you know nothing about is risking whether or not the ingredients are truly what they say they are on the package. This is a mistake I will never make again. While the labeling says this is three types of collagen and several different probiotics, all of which I have taken for many, many years, these capsules are not what they claim. I have no idea what is in these things , but its not probiotics. for THREE DAYS, not realizing it was these capsules, I thought I was going to poop myself to death. I honestly thought Id somehow contracted that diarrhea parasite that is going around but nothing Id eaten was out of the ordinary and I grow my own vegetables. On the third day, within a half hour of taking these capsules, I was having such bad stomach cramps I thought I was going to die. The entire night I was having to get out of bed to just be able to stop the pain, and then I was on the toilet for hours. I knew as soon as the cramping started it had to be these pills. The next day, still feeling queasy, I ate the exact same meals Id had the day before just to see if it was something I was eating, I did not take these capsules. By the end of the day I felt fine with no issues. Same yesterday. No issues. There is definitely something in these pills and Im worried about any long term issues now. DO NOT TAKE THESE!

Convenient two and one collagen and probiotic supplement
I really like that this combines collagen and probiotics in one supplement. I normally take a probiotic every day, so I replaced my usual probiotic with this rather than adding another supplement to my routine.Each two capsule serving contains 1,000 mg of hydrolyzed collagen from bovine, chicken, marine and eggshell membrane sources, along with a 10 strain probiotic blend providing 50 billion CFUs. I like getting both in the same capsules and having one less supplement to keep track of.The capsules are average size and easy to swallow. The directions recommend taking two capsules daily with food. I’ve taken them both with and without food and haven’t experienced any stomach issues.I had never taken collagen regularly before, so I’m not really sure how quickly I should expect to notice a difference. I’ve only been taking these for a few weeks and haven’t noticed any obvious changes from the collagen yet. That said, taking two capsules is a much better alternative for me than drinking collagen powder. I’ve tried the powder, and yuck! I definitely prefer this.I also like that the label says the product is non GMO, dairy free and gluten free. Refrigeration is recommended but not required, which makes it convenient to keep with my other daily supplements.Overall, I really like the convenience of getting my collagen and probiotic together. It’s an easy two in one supplement that fits well into my daily routine.

Clean ingredients, collagen in pill form
I do not enjoy putting collagen powder in my drinks to try to increase my collagen intake. It’s fine now and then, but I would prefer to take collagen in a form other than powder, which is why I jumped on the chance to try these Doctor’s Recipes Collagen with Probiotics capsules.The bottle came with both an outer protected seal around the cap and also a sealed bottle opening. The capsules are the bigger size of most larger supplements, but not “horse pill” sized. The instructions indicate that you are to take two capsules a day, which I took before bed at night. This bottle contains 60 capsules, so it is a month’s worth if taken as instructed, daily. The price is decent for the amount, but not an amazing deal.I appreciate the use of clean source ingredients, which is stated to be sourced “free from growth hormones,” as well as halal and kosher friendly.The probiotics are an added bonus. I can’t say for certain if the collagen and probiotics helped my body, but, as someone who uses their hands for work, I did find that the achiness of my joints lessened while during the month usage.Expiration date on the bottle shown as 10/2028, which is over two years from the time I received this product.

I take collagen at home in powder form in smoothies and had been taking probiotics separately in capsule form. I found this combination product which has the various types of collagen I need plus probiotics in two medium-sized capsules! These are easy for me to set up in my pill organizer plus were much more convenient on vacation recently.The collagen is from various sources of protein and did not give me any tummy issues. The probiotics include strains for a healthy gut, something I have been working on. I’m so glad I was able to keep my wellness routine even when traveling.I have several supplements from Doctor’s Recipes and have confidence in their products. These are non-GMO, gluten-and dairy-free, lab tested, and are manufactured in a facility in the USA with GMP “good manufacturing practices”. The bottle is stamped with a lot number and expiration date 2 years in the future. I have nearly finished the bottle and my GI issues are improving. You can never go wrong with Doctor’s Recipes products. All of them are made of good quality and this one is no different. Collagen is typically taken in powder form but that method is usually messy and I don’t keep up with it as I should. These supplements make taking my collagen easy. You only need 2 capsules for your daily supply. The capsules are easy to swallow and I suggest taking them with food. What I love the most about the 5 different types of collagen is that they’re clearly listed on the ingredients list so you don’t have to guess what’s inside. Another plus is that this supplement contains probiotics that have 50 billion CFUs and 10 strains. Probiotics alone does wonders for your body. But paired with collagen.. it’s a match made in heaven. A healthier gut + 5x the collagen = glowing, beautiful skin. This comes with 60 capsules so you get 30 days worth for $15. Most collagen products and probiotics would cost twice as much as this for both products so this is like getting a 2 for 1. There’s no nasty after taste and I haven’t experienced any adverse side effects. As most DR supplements, these are also free of soy, dairy, wheat, shellfish, tree nuts and peanuts, making them a product that everyone can enjoy. I would recommend this supplement for sure!

Haven’t heard of the brand before but this seems like a decent product combining probiotics with collagen of type I, II, III, V, X (which is bovine, marine, poultry and egg shells). The bottle states that the bovine sources are pasture raised, the chicken is cage free and maritime sources are wild caught which is great! The probiotic blend contains 50 Billion CFUs (which is a lot) consisting of 10 different strains. The supplement doesn’t contain any fillers or binders which is great. The bottle states that it’s lab tested but I haven’t verified that claim. Overall this checks all of my boxes so I think this is a high quality supplement. the capsules are easy to swallow (2 capsules/serving, contains 30 servings). Unfortunately, it’s only 1g of collagen/serving.
