Biofilm Blaster: Helped Heal Fungal Sinusitis
A few weeks ago after flossing (which I hadn’t done for a while), I got a severe headache in my cheek and temple region, just on one side of my face. The headache persisted every day for the next 1-2 weeks and was really intense — actually debilitating! I thought that I had stirred up some microbes from the flossing and had created a sinus infection. So I started doing everything I could to try and kill the infection — including, essential oils (internally and externally), coconut oil, oil pulls, oregano and peppermint oils (internally and externally), garlic, hydrogen peroxide inserted into my sinus cavity, apple cider vinegar, On Guard oil, Thieves oil, etc. Absolutely nothing worked, except for some occasional temporary relief, but not always.Then one day I saw a green fleshy-looking substance come out when I blew my nose. After researching this, I realized I actually had a fungal type of sinus infection — Aspergillus Sinusitus. This fungus creates a “fungus ball” in your nose or sinus area and protects itself with a biofilm that makes antibiotics and even the body’s own immune system ineffective against it. The conventional treatment is surgery, which is used to go in and remove this thing physically. I was not a fan of that route, so I did a bunch of research and discovered that certain enzymes can destroy these biofilms — the very same enzymes that are in this product (Proteolytic Enzymes). So I gave it a try.After 1-2 days of taking this product, the headaches went away — totally! This was amazing, because absolutely nothing I tried had been able to achieve this beforehand. Also, after these 2 days there was no further evidence of the fungus ball when blowing my nose. The enzymes seemed to have done their work beautifully — destroying the biofilm so that my own immune system could then go in and destroy the fungal infection. I was actually amazed how quickly this condition turned around. Since then, I have continued taking the enzymes at the recommended dosage of 3 caps per day between meals. I’ve continued to be totally headache free and have had absolutely no symptoms of any infection.A few notes: For the first few days I took 3-4 times the recommended dosage. Instead of 3 caps per day, I probably took around 10-12 per day for the first few days (half of these at night and the other half in the early morning). After that, I tapered down slowly to the recommended 3 caps per day. I was also very careful to always take these on an empty stomach — hours after any meals, and hours before any meals. I had absolutely no stomach upsets from taking these.Bottom line: This product was extremely helpful for me and seemed able to help my body destroy a fungal-based sinus infection very quickly –possibly by destroying the protective biofilm.

It works!
Writing this review hoping it is helpful to others. Little background first… Before taking any supplements I always buy AND read at least 2 books on the topic ÷ look at pubmed published research + read as many user reviews as possible. About 10 years ago i read the books but didnt follow through with supplementing mostly because i was young and healthy but the idea stayed in my mind. The beauty of books is that someone else spends the time compiling the research and it acts as a quick source of reference. Unfortunately they become dated. That’s where pubmed comes in, takes a couple of minutes to find all the new research. User reviews are great but difficult to compare different products and can be manipulated. The reason why i mention all of this is because most people want the shortest answer. I myself look for honesty and accuracy.I first started taking proteolytic enzymes for its cardiovascular effects, specifically it’s ability to break down fibrinogen in your blood thereby having a blood thinning effect, which it does. What motivated me to write this review on this specific product was 2 recent experiences. In July of 2018 i traveled to Puerto Vallarta which is mosquito season. They bite you in the ankles and elbows and you get intense itching. Usually a little topical antihistamine stops it cold, except it didn’t help this time. Not only did it not help but i got intense uncontrollable itching in areas that never itch like the side of the ribs, top of the thighs etc. Took oral antihistamines thinking it might be an allergic reaction and it made no difference. Applied topical steroid creams and it didnt make a difference either except for getting more concerned and frustrated. This lasted for 2 months. Coincidentally the previous bottle of these enzymes was about to run out so i decided to take it with me and finish the remainder throughout the day. I took between 6 or 8 pills throughout the day. Incredibly the intense itching in unusual areas was completely gone the following morning. If you read the research you’ll find that proteolytic enzymes reduce inflammation, breakup biofilm, breakdown proteins amongst other things. I don’t know the exact mode that helped me but i am very clear that it did.After that experience while reordering I decided to read other reviews to see if anybody else had a similar experience. While reading the reviews many people mention that it’s helped them with their joints. My mother had just showed me her hand and fingers and how she could not curl her fingers in to touch her palm. I ordered her a bottle and told her to take it as the bottle suggests. It’s been about 3 weeks and today she showed me her hands again. She was able to curl her fingers to her palm now and told me that her joint pain started to go away within 3 days of taking them. She was really appreciate and asked me to make sure she didnt run out of them.If you spend enough time trying to compare the specific enzymes or combinations in different products you quickly realize that its almost impossible. I do supplement with other enzymes for different reasons but the effects of these were clear and so i was motivated to write this review. Hope it helps others out there.

Despite taking very expensive products from nutritionist, I still had issue with a bloated full feeling all the way up to base of sternum, by third day I’d say that pressure had gone down by about 10%, maybe more because neighbor even commented that I looked less bloated. It’s been a week and that “full” feeling up high has improved about 50%, have also lost 6# (yea!). have not received answer to question on how to take this, directions simply say 3 daily, doesn’t specify if it should be all together (as some reviewers take it) or if can be spread thruout the day to same effect. I have done it both ways, the 3 at once didn’t upset my stomach as some reported, but maybe try one 3x if it does affect you. Ordered this after reading about biofilm, am still waiting to see if this will address odd cough, sinus issues, arthritis etc as some have reported. Trying to be patient on those issues and the relief in bloated feeling gives hope.UPDATE: UNEXPECTED BENEFIT!After a full bottle I noticed that my hot flashes were very infrequent (vs several all day & night) and just uncomfortably warm instead of instant inferno. I just found an article by PubMed Central that hot flashes are “linked to metabolic inflammation.” My goodness! Not just a coincidence. Still waiting for results with arthritis and fibromyalgia, but after years of bad hot flashes (didn’t want to take artificial meds) all day and sweating at night there is finally relief. Worth taking just for that.

Already noticed benefit after 1st dose
This product was recommended by my chiropractor for helping to reduce inflammation in the joints and the herniated discs my son got from a car accident 2 months ago. I started reading reviews and learned it helps with removing BIO FILM in the body which I found very interesting as BIO FILM contains bacteria. I started using this myself and am pretty surprised at the results already, and I only used 2 doses so far.After my first dose my mood improved that day, I was actually quite content. I took my second dose which sent me to the bathroom and the “results” were quite different than what I am used to. Let’s just say that I think it’s starting to break up the bio film and sending it on its way out.The other thing I noticed is that my jaw doesn’t hurt as much in the area where I had the crown redone last week, on my molar. This is quite interesting to me; a bit of background info here – that molar had a crown done 2 years ago (2022) and that side has been pretty much bothering me ever since with a constant dull ache. The dentist did a very poor job with it and after the crown detached itself twice this year, I had another dentist replace it last week. He did an excellent job in the execution of it, but after working on that tooth the area was sore for days so what was a constant (minor) dull ache before the crown replacement, graduated to flare ups of actual pain. Then I took mt first dose of these enzymes, all of a sudden this pain reduced markedly. I took my second dose and last night I was able to sleep through the night with no pain at all (I’m a tooth-grinder while I sleep and sometimes wake up sore from that). My new dentist is holistic and recently tried selling me a surgical procedure to remove bacteria and infected tissue in my jaw (known as cavitation surgery) which is very likely what has been causing me this dull ache for 2 years. After experiencing an improvement with 2 doses of this enzyme I agree with him that bacteria has very likely settled in that region, but I;m going to give this enzyme a try for a while to see if it successfully clears out the bacteria by itself, which could potentially saver me quite a bit of money. So far so good. I like the product. No unpleasant side effects, just good results thus far. I recommend it.

No more bloating from protein
I’m writing this review to hopefully help others with the issues I was dealing with. I wish I had found these a decade ago. Since my twenties, I had dealt with IBS and heartburn. Within the last year, I started bloating from my protein powder I took after working out. Then, I would bloat from any protein to the point it felt like I was going to pop. I saw these enzymes were responsible for digesting protein, so I figured I’d give them a shot. I’ve been taking two of these in the morning for a week and a half. My stomach has done a complete 180. The bloating has gone way down, and I can eat whatever I want. I didn’t even realize that my stomach was in a constant state of discomfort. For anyone that’s having these problems, this might be something for you to look into.

Not sure if i like these. They do cause nausea and i think some enzymes work for people and some are just not a good fit. These are not for me unfortunately.

WONDERFUL PRODUCT BUT CHANGED CAPSULES – NO LONGER ENTERIC 🙁
It is rare that I post reviews with any negative vibe, as I don’t like spreading negativity. However, I used to ADORE these – they worked wonders for my inflammation. The most recent bottle I received, however, features a different capsule than before, and the description on the bottle is different than the one listed here. (It no longer says it has an enteric coating in the ingredient list, nor does it say enteric coating on the front, but instead says “delayed release.”) I was hopeful that perhaps it was just a new type of enteric technology, but sadly, these are not working quite as well anymore. I used to take them and would experience very evidence inflammation reduction and benefits. Now, however, they seem to be breaking down before the small intestine (evident by the taste of them now appearing in my mouth), and they are not as effective. I hope Doctor’s Best will return to the original capsule formula – I don’t know why they changed? I would love to hear the company comment!
