Skeptical user that is amazed
I was skeptical that this would do anything given many other natural supplements I’ve tried without good results. This has proven to be the real deal for me. Here is what I’ve noticed:1. It takes about a week to 10 days to start working fully. I noticed some positive effects immediately but it seems to “settle-in” after a little time.2. Take it with food. It upset my stomach a little without food or at least lots of water.3. Started sleeping really well. Having real-like dreams that I remember. I get the sense of having been asleep and rested and not just passing out and then an annoying alarm waking me up like with a sleeping pill.4. The anti-anxiety effect took about two weeks to start to help me but its noticeable and real. Feel more relaxed and calm but not dragging or sleepy.5. Nice energy boost but not overly hyped up. Just better energy during the day. Especially after taking it in the morning.6. I take one 600mg capsul in the morning with some yogurt or breakfast and then a second one with dinner in the evening.7. I forgot to take my Ashwag (as I call it, lol) one evening with dinner. Had a restless night of infrequent sleep. I tty not to forget it now.8. Noticed some better muscle tone lately. I work out but this seemed to improve my muscle recovery and tone. Maybe its just in my head but it feels and looks like it to me. I’ll take it, haha. Its sure better than diarrhea or aome other side effect any day.Thats all. My savior! The best supplement in my cabinet.
This supplement changed my life. I don’t say that lightly. I had a lot of anxiety and PTSD due various issues in life and one recent one of being held at gun point. I refuse to take prescription drugs and tried everything to help me alleviate my anxiety. After many, many months of pain and near depression, I found my savior. I take 2 in the morning and I am filled with energy and calm. Funny enough I completely forgot I was taking this as I was taking several other herbal supplements for my GI issues and one day found myself much more calm than I would have been in a particular situation, even my husband commented on my level of happiness. I then remembered I was taking this. So no “palcebo” effect on this. It really worked for me. I would give it 1-2 months to see real results and DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT.

I’m unsure Joe legitimate this product is, despite it being an Amazon recommended product.The contents inside each capsule appears to be a different substance than other ashwagandha products. Other brands have shown consistency in my experience. NOW foods and Jarrow Ashagandha have similar contents. Either NOW and Jarrow are off or this product is.To be fair I didn’t have negative physical reactions.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera): Is used in the Ayurvedic herbal tradition and is commonly known as Indian ginseng, poison gooseberry, or winter cherry. A member of the Solanaceae family, or nightshade family, ashwagandha is related botanically to potatoes, pepper, and tomatoes. It is an adaptogenic herb, which means it works with your body to help balance hormones. It is also an antioxidant that destroys free radicals. Dosing is recommended at 300mg for a minimum does and depending on why you are taking it up to 6000mg day. The most common dosing is 500mg twice a day. Each of these capsules is 600mg, that puts it slightly above the recommendation but as with all supplements it best to start at lower does and work up to the “sweet spot”. Ashwagandha is not recommended for children in any dose. The name ashwagandha is from the Sanskrit language and is a combination of the word ashva, meaning horse, and gandha, meaning smell. The common reasons for taking ashwagandha is to help with hormone issues; stress, cortisol levels, thyroid function, adrenal fatigue, depression, insomnia (stress induced), anxiety, alzheimer’s, stamina and endurance. There have been studies that show some type of positive result for each of these, but has not been proven.Black pepper extract: Helps the body absorb other substances better. Peperine, an active component in Black pepper) is a molecule that does not do much on its own but can inhibit enzymes that would attack other molecules. Due to this, it is ingested alongside some supplements to increase their absorption rates. Really helps my adrenals
Really helps my adrenals – what I mean by this is that if I am not taking Ashwagandha, unless I sleep 9 or 10 hours – I feel tired. I ordered BRI Nutrition Ashwagandha in April and I have to say they both work amazingly well. I have always struggled with sleep and feeling rested – insomnia has haunted me since my late 20’s and I will say that I still take a RX sleeping pill but that is all I take that is not natural. Otherwise I use herbs and vitamins to supplement my health. When I started on Ashwagandha back in April, I noticed that even if I only slept 6 or 7 hours (not enough sleep for me) I felt okay – not great but OK. Normally on that amount of sleep? My stomach would be upset, I would have a headache, sore throat and my body would ache like I had been hit by a mack truck (I know..I know…sleep is SO crucial for me….I do NOT understand anyone who can get by on less than 7 hours and feel good). Anyway, I’m not saying that Ashwagandha is the antidote for your adrenals but I AM saying it really helps. I personally think this brand is helping me a lot and quickly because I started it on 8/1/17 (thanks to Amazon’s history of my orders I know this!!) and it’s not 8/26/17 and I DO feel much more balanced and much LESS run down. Just an added note? My stress level was about a 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 back in May (Dad died, Mom has mild dementia, I am in grad school, broke up with my boyfriend and had to move from TX to Vegas in July!) and now?
