Magnesium is a key vitamin for sleep, muscle soreness, and overall calming. Here are a few benefits:Muscle and Nerve Support, Better Sleep and Relaxation, Heart Health, Bone Density. THE CoQ-10 also helps with heat and brain health, and vitamin D assists in bone density. The B vitamins are known to give healthy energy, and ashwaganda is also said to help with stress, exercise recovery, and sleep.So, this is a great combination of daily vitamins, especially if you tend to be stressed, anxious or struggle to fall asleep.You take two per day, so it’s a 60 day supply. These are ingredients I tend to consume on a semi-regular basis but this is the first time I’ve seen them packaged together in a red gummy format.In general, Stevia leaf extract is considered a safe sugar substitute. There is also fruit extract low on the ingredients list which may contribute somewhat to the sweet taste. The gummy texture comes from pectin and CarnaubaWax (which passes through the body).Each gummy is 500 milligrams and they recommend a serving size of two per day. Sixty gummies is a one-month supply.I personally don’t think it’s a good idea to give gummy supplements to children until they are old enough to fully understand the distinctions between pharmaceuticals, supplements, and candy. These gummies taste good and it would be easy to consume too many. I ordered them specifically for myself.Multiple-supplements are convenient, you don’t have to track several bottles and dosages, but if you are taking medications, it might be a good idea to ask your doctor if any of the specific ingredients should be avoided. I’m not taking any medications so I feel reasonably safe with the ingredients.Consumption of supplements is built on trust. I don’t know this company, I usually buy supplements direct from a lab, but I am willing to try new brands from time to time. I feel like I need more research into the dosage of each ingredient.
I have started off taking only 1 gummy each day, not 2 as advised. The gummies taste good but feel a bit stiff (not soft and chewy). I was surprised about some of the dosage amounts – B12 says it is 500mcg, or 20,833% of the daily recommended value. What happens if you take that high of a dose on top of your other nutritional intake? I’m not sure. Magnesium complex says 1000mg. Is that straight magnesium, which I understand that a good recommended daily dose is 350mg? Hard to tell.I am happy with the current 1 gummy a day, until I research more about what is good in terms of maximum dosage. 1 gummy a day will give me a 60 day supply. Otherwise, it will last 30 days if you take the recommended two gummies a day dosage.Price-wise, it was $16.99 at the time of order, but I see a coupon price of $11.99 at the time of writing this review, so I feel like it is a bit on the higher price side. I encourage you to do your research first before taking this or any supplement.
