    So far so good 😊

I am very excited to see the benefits of these cortisol relief supplement pills. They arrived quickly and well packaged. The capsules are a little smaller than standard size capsules and easy to swallow. There is no discernible taste or odor. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects. I’ve only been taking it for about five days so I haven’t seen any positive changes but I am hopeful!

    Good to help manage stress

This supplement contains ingredients that help to manage stress. I like that it’s not full of unnecessary artificial additives. It’s non GMO and is vegetarian friendly. It’s easy to take. Two capsules are in a serving size. Each bottle contains 30 servings. The expiration date on my bottle is 04/2024

    Very effective

I am under a lot of stress and distress in my life right now like so many people are because of the pandemic. I have been taking Ashwagandha a lot lately and I have tried a lot of different brands. This particular brand has very high quality and high-dose Sensoril which is Ashwagandha extract (250 mg), but also has some other extracts to compliment the Sensoril – Asparagus, Rhodolia, and Magnolia.I realize after having taking this and immediately feeling so much better that a lot of my issues are from cortisol and adrenal disjunction. I take this in the evening and anytime I have a panic attack. It has helped me more than any other supplement I’ve tried. I’m not expert, but I believe this particular brand is a much better extraction than a lot of the other brands on the market. Another good brand is New Chapter, but it is only Sensoril and only 125mg. I do double-up their dose to get the 250 mg, but it isn’t as effective. I believe that is because of the others herbal extracts included in this product. This is an expensive supplement, but for me it has helped me especially when I am having a hard time mentally. It is a life saver!!! Very much worth the money for the high quality and effectiveness of the product.

This one didn’t do it for me

In general, I am a fan of ashwagandha on paper and a real life fan of rhodiola rosea. So I was interested to try this supplement. But after 29 days of use, I haven’t noticed any improvements in any of the areas it is designed to support. I track my sleep with multiple watches/trackers and it hasn’t improved or deteriorated. It has not made any noticeable difference in my stress levels and my blood pressure has stayed relatively the same as usual. I haven’t noticed any improvements in focus or energy. I do not feel different in any meaningful way than I did before trying this product. It may be that I just need a higher dose than what is recommended here, or it may be that this formulation just doesn’t work for me. I have taken rhodiola rosea on its own and I like it quite a bit for improving general stamina, including for workouts. I have also taken ashwagandha on its own but I will say it’s hit or miss there depending on the brand and dosage. The asparagus extract is new to me, but based on this experience, I won’t be hunting it down in the future. I have tried other supplements with the magnolia extract, but I didn’t have especially good success there, either. However, I do think with the exception of the asparagus extract, that there are good reasons for these extracts to be used and they can help with stress and/or cortisol reduction for some people. So in the end, this formulation may work well for some, but it just didn’t for me.

Unique supplement with a variety of adaptogens you don’t normally see

I have anxiety disorder and I always look out for novel herbal, science based supplements to see if I can use this as needed instead of my RX anxiety meds. This supplement has ashwagandha, standardized rhodiola, but also two ingredients you don’t see as much and one I hadn’t heard of: ETAS, which stands for Enzyme Treated Asparagus Extract, and Magnolia Bark extract. All of these supplements have studies behind them showing efficacy in reducing stress and cortisol. I’ve tried magnolia bark before and it for sure is one of the more legit anti anxiety supplements out there which has a stronger effect when used as needed but I’d never tried or even heard of the ETAS.I’ve used this as needed for moderately stressful events and days and I found that it actually had a pretty strong effect. When I’ve tried different types of ashwagandha/rhodiola supplements before I feel that those are more of supplements to take for the long term versus as needed for a stressful event. So in this case I’m guessing that it’s the magnolia and ETAS that pack the extra punch. I didn’t have any issues taking the pills even without a lot of food in my stomach. I did notice that about an hour and a half after when the pill “hits” I feel a little zoned out for a bit so keep that in mind that this is pretty strong and more of an “as needed” anti anxiety herbal supplement or to be used before sleep or something like this. I wouldn’t take this when I needed to drive or do something dangerous. This supplement is really expensive but for as needed use and the quality of the hard to find ingredients, and the time that went into making sure these were science based extracts, I think it’s decent. They also didn’t put a bunch of junk fillers in the pills which would make me pause at this price.I see a lot of people freaking out a bit about the heavy metals warning. This is a complex issue but honestly many many supplements do not put this warning when they should. Ayurvedic herbs often have issues with heavy metals or other contaminants due to the soil it’s grown in. A while back when kids apple juices were tested they also had way over the limit of arsenic in them. So I take this with a grain of salt. I think it’s a good thing they were on top of regulatory stuff, and it’s good to remind people of this fact, but take a step back and realize that all the supplements that don’t have this label, and the food you get at the grocery store, most likely has questionable levels of these contaminants as well. That being said it gives you enough information to take pause and use this as needed vs every day which is how I have used it.

    Great quality

This supplement is great for cortisol-blocking and stress relief. The combination of ashghawanda, rhodiola rosea, and magnolia officinal make a powerful blend that supports healthy cortisol levels and adrenal glands. Altogether there are 60 capsules, and at the recommended 2 per day makes a month supplies worth. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it.

    Great product. Very effective!

This is my story. My son use to take these 1 yrs ago then stopped. I began to suddenly experience heart palpitations, indigestion, chest tightness, fullness in the abdomen, weight gain, specially before bed this magnifies. I’m not new to symptoms of anxiety, anxious mind & all that comes with it. I watched Dr Berg videos about dealing with it & almost purchased his formula, which I have in the past & it is also a great formula! But I decided to go thru my herbal covert and see if I had any left from before, I found this formula given to my son. I looked at the ingredients and they looked good so I decided to take them and see how I will react to it. I took 2 in the am and 1 around 5. Wow it did such good job I was surprised! No symptoms of any sort during the day or before bed. No drowsiness either. I’ve taken them for a week now and they work great still. Before I was a walking tired person all the time. I also started taking good multivitamins with all Bs in it. But I feel great! I praise God I found them. It supports my adrenals & I don’t have that bloated feeling in my stomach anymore, I hope this review helps someone make a good health decision. 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Plant based ingredients with some label warnings which give me pause.

Let me start out by saying that I purchased this product because the stress levels in my job have escalated and I wanted something that might soothe me a bit. Many of these ingredients are plant-based and have been used in Chinese or Indian Ayurveda ‘medicine’ for centuries, or longer. I will focus on all of the plant-based ingredients, with an explanation of how each is designed to work … however, I wanted to address the elephant in the room first. The warning label on this bottle mentions that the state of California warns that use of this product can expose one to Arsenic and possible birth defects. This alone would be enough to scare most people off, after seeing this warning label on the bottle. I will say that California has the strictest ratings when it comes to placing caution labels on products and most of the items you buy which contain plastic, any sort of leather/wool dye (formaldehyde) or any sort of lawn furniture with a stone top (mercury) are labeled as possibly carcinogenic in the State of California. Many products which contain even trace amounts of such ingredients are labeled with this warning, if sold or marketed to California consumers. I am not saying to take this lightly, but many products contain natural ingredients which could be considered as warning-worthy in California yet are likely totally safe. I chose not to take this product after reading the warning label, but that is up to you. This contains 4 main ingredients: Ashwaganda extract, Asparagus Extract, Rhidiola Extract and Magnolia Bark Extract. All of these ingredients are known to work on helping stress or fatigue. I will say that the supplement market is notoriously unregulated in terms of direct scientific evidence and many of the studies which are relied on are done with small sample groups over short periods of time. There are likely no magic pills when it comes to health and well-being, but many of the ingredients do have history in Chinese and Indian holistic wellness and medicine.Ashwaganda is a root, which has recently gained popularity in the west as a natural de-stresser and relaxer. The name Ashwaganda actually translates to ‘Horse Like’. Some translate this to the fact that the root smells like horse sweat. Thankfully, it is blended in these pills and does not contain as strong an odor as when direct powder is used … but if you have ever smelled pure Ashwaganda root powder, it smells similar to a horse barn or saddle. Others mention that the strength of a horse, is what this can bring because the powder has a strong effect on some. It bring a calm relaxation … but at the same time a jolt of energy. It is supposed to keep you alert and focused, as caffeine might, while giving you a calm and smoothing feeling. Some people, especially those prone to migraines and caffeine withdrawal may get headaches when taking Ashgawanda.Asparagus Extract … This is an odd ingredient but there was a 2014 study in the Journal of Science and Medicine which showed that mice which were subjected to sleep deprivation showed much lower/more normal stress levels if they were given asparagus extract, than those who were not given the asparagus extract. There is loose scientific research which shows that asparagus can contribute to cortisol balance when taken in large quantities. This is a physiological effect vs. psychological … so you wouldn’t feel any different, although your stress levels would be down. Asparagus extract has also been researched as a urine stimulant and contains asparagine, which stimulates brain development.Rhodiola … This is a flower extract, which is a natural adaptogen. Adaptogens stimulate a body’s resistance to physical and environmental stresses. This has been studied in regard to its regulatory properties on helping fatigue, depression, anxiety and stress. No significant scientific evidence exists, out of its popularity in Eastern holistic medicine, which shows that it actually regulates these things but many do remark that the supplement does relax and calm them during stressful periods.Magnolia Bark … This has been used for 1,000 years in Chinese medicine as something which helps with “the stagnation of qui”, which can be translated to calming and reducing stress and anxiety. There are many studies which claim that Magnolia Bark does a lot of things, all beneficial to health and wellness.Overall, this company’s promise to, “Supports Healthy Cortisol Levels and Adrenal function” are backed up by various scientific studies, none of which equal concrete scientific evidence that taking this will actually help you regulate stress. It should be noted that most of these ingredients were shown to have a physiological effect on stress (meaning, it occurs within the body … not give you an actual feeling of calm and soothing, which would be a psychological effect.) So, the bottom line is, you may not know whether this is working or not without substantiated testing. If you don’t FEEL it working, doesn’t necessarily mean it is not. Having said that, at the high price, you might need to be okay taking a leap of faith in whether this works or not. Maybe try taking blood pressure readings before and after taking this product, if you want to have some indication of its effect. I am staying away from the product because of the warning labels but I will say that if I thought this actually would work as well as it claimed, the de-stressing it provided would be worth the small risk of Arsenic exposure that the label states.
