    Best olive leaf extract I’ve ever used! Thank & bless you, Comvita.

    Love this extract! It tastes so wonderfully healthy, rich & earthy. reminds me of the expensive ginseng that comes in the tiny bottles. Your bottle gives more for the money than Barleans & tastes even more fully complex, which tells me it’s loaded with minerals & nutrients. It’s so sweet, almost like Maple or Agave. I’m using it primarily as a companion to rid myself of candida in my lungs & digestive organs in conjunction with DE, Bentonite clay & chlorophyll green drinks. The arthritic psoriasis that appears after much stress is drying & healing, my vitality is definitely up along with mood & motivation. I’m 67 & my only daughter was murdered this year on her birthday by 2 Muslim men and my whole person was just devastated, my physical & emotional systems went down. Because I have 2 sons alive & 4 grandchildren to love, plus parents all over the world grieving over the loss of their children due to violence, I want to be strong enough to love & care for them & not be useless shell. I’m so thankful for this help. This is the fastest acting olive leaf extract I’ve ever used, & I’ve used many over the years for different needs & even the expensive tinctures, Please keep making it as you do now, it’s a wonderful blessing to me.

    Hilft durch die Erkältungszeit

    Ich bestelle den Extrakt nun zum 3. Mal am Anfang der Erkältungszeit. Bei den ersten Symptomen genommen, kommt die Erkältung nicht durch. Besonders gefällt mir, dass keinerlei Süßungsmittel beigefügt sind – also Natur pur. Und ich finde, es schmeckt keineswegs schlecht!

    I’ve used Barleann’s (don’t remember if there was just one N in the name at the moment…) and it has an awful flavour! The price was awful, and the quantity was the same.I wonder why I hadn’t tried Comvita’s olive leaf sooner. It lasts longer, I actually feel like the olive leaf works better than Barleann’s, and it has a good taste. Yes, I do want to sip water if I don’t swallow the olive leaf quick, but I don’t want to vomit as I did with Barleann’s, and just a sip really helps with this olive leaf… You won’t need a whole jug of water to wash the taste away.

    Not a Cost Saving

    I purchased the Comvita because I was looking for a less expensive liquid extract and the Amazon price for Comvita was one third less of the price of Barlean’s Olive Leaf Extract, which I have used in the past and I rate it 5 Stars for actually reducing my blood pressure significantly.As far as the taste I don’t have a problem with either product as they are very similar, but the Comvita is sweeter, so that I would assume the reason Comvita claims 2g more of carbohydrates (sugar) than the Barlean’s.As far as the amount of Oleuropein, the Comvita claims 66mg per Tablespoon. Barlean’s claims 95mg of Oleuropein per Tablespoon making it more than one third stronger than the Comvita for the same dosage. So my purchasing the Comvita for what appeared to be a cost savings doesn’t add up as the actual price per mg of Oleuropein costs more in the Comvita, actually making it more expensive. Additionally I don’t need the 2g of extra sugar per dose in the Comvita. So for me I will be back to buying Barlean’s until I can get the same product cheaper.

    amazing stuff

    well where do i start. originally i discovered this after a long journey of trying different things to get rid of cold saws. i used to get around 1 a month and i got this stuff and now i have around 1 a year maybe less. i only take it for around a month of the year now. Its highly anti viral and anti microbial ive recommended it to a friend at work for blood pressure and its helped hi. Ive brought my Nan some and it has helped with the arthritis in her hands. Be careful if you start to develop flue like symptoms and cut back on the dose for a few days, when i originally started taking it i got the worst flue ive ever had. which i later came to realise is a result of virus die off (or whatever its killing) going into your blood stream so your body can clear it out of your system. i honestly couldn’t recommend this enough to anyone do some googling …. it tastes pretty horrible but well worth it

    Apparently great for blood sugar

    I know many complain about the taste, but I stir it into my morning coffee and its yummy! Gives my coffee a deep, complex taste. I purchased this for the immune-boosting benefits, but I’ve noticed that my blood sugar has been steadily dropping over the 3 weeks I’ve been taking it! 123 three weeks ago, the last 2 mornings it’s been 96! 96!! Since this is the only change I’ve made, it has to be the olive leaf extract that’s responsible. At any rate, it is good for me. I’ve noticed my overall feeling of well-being has increased!

    Olive leaf is not for everyone!!

    I can only find mostly glowing reviews for olive leaf. I actually took a different brand of olive leaf a few years ago for high blood pressure and that along with exercise lowered my bp. Fast forward a few months and I started taking an olive leaf capsule instead of the liquid version. I had a violent reaction to it and not realizing that it was the olive leaf I was reacting to, took it several more times having the same reaction each time. I ended up in the emergency room needing fluids. A couple of years later (now) I decided maybe the liquid olive leaf wouldn’t cause the reaction since that was what I originally took with no reaction other than lowered bp so I ordered this one. One dose and I was ILL. So be careful when taking olive leaf because it can make you ill. I’m not sure if I’m just allergic to it or what but I wanted to tell my story because I’ve not found many that tell you it CAN make you sick!!As far as this actual product goes, the flavor isn’t too bad and I was able to take it with some juice with no problem. So if you’re able to take olive leaf I’d say this is a good one to take.
