Convenient all-in-one combo of glutamine, collagen, and probiotics
What sold me on this product was the ingredient list. Between the glutamine, collagen, probiotics, fiber, and zinc, the Codeage Gut Muscle Formula covers several supplements I was already taking but normally have to buy as three or four separate products. If you’re looking to get all of these in one place instead of juggling multiple containers and scoops, this is a very convenient option. (Its name is pretty fun too!)The powder doesn’t mix very well by hand-stirring; the little clumps don’t seem to dissolve no matter how vigorous you are with a spoon. But in a shaker bottle or blender it mixed just fine, so plan on using one of those. The flavor is pleasantly sweet and surprisingly strong for how small the scoop is, and overall the chocolate tastes good and the consistency is nice once it’s properly mixed. Also a good option for flavoring your overnight oats!As for effects, I was already in good health and taking similar supplements, so I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes after my first week of use. That said, the product feels like it’s good quality, and I’ll definitely consider switching over to simplify my supplement routine next time I need to reorder.

Terrific combination of ingredients for gut health, inflammation reduction and insulin control
I take another collagen peptide supplement for joint, skin and nail health. Gut Muscle has hydrolyzed bovine collagen collagen (which is the same source used in my other formula) PLUS several additional ingredients. Namely …L-Glutamine: This is a building block for proteins and plays key roles in various bodily functions, particularly during stress, illness, injury, or intense exercise. The body produces it naturally, but supplementation may be beneficial in some situations. It is a “conditionally essential” amino acid, meaning that, although a healthy body can synthesize it, under stress, your body’s demand may exceed the capacity to produce enough.Tapioca Fiber: This soluble fiber acts as prebiotic; may moderate insulin spikes.Aloe Vera: Some studies show that this Aloe Vera can help with fasting blood glucose levels, as well as aid in digestion.Bacillus coagulans: This is a probiotic that improves IBS symptoms and supports microbiome balance; may reduce inflammation, support immune function, improve protein absorption, and help with weight management.Gut Muscle also contains Iron, Zinc and Sodium:Iron: Supports oxygen transport in blood, energy production, and muscle function/recovery. Quality ingredients
I got this because of the quality ingredients. I’m very particular about the sugar alternatives I use. This uses two that I like, monk fruit and stevia. The bacilla they use is the best for surviving digestion and reaching the intestines.It doesn’t dissolve easily. You need at least a blender ball or whisk, or put it in a blender. You can see in the photo that after I used a whisk there is still some undissolved powder on top and sticking to the cup. The chocolate flavor is pretty good, but there is an additional flavor that I don’t like much. It’s probably from the collagen or aloe vera. I’m not used to those. It’s not bad, just not my favorite.

So, this supplement has several ingredients in one collagen in the coffee like powder. It blends smoothly into coffee without clumping, and the texture stays consistent.It’s also non‑GMO, which fits the clean‑label approach Codeage uses for many of their supplements. Overall, this is a smooth‑mixing dissolvable chocolate powder with a thoughtful blend of gut‑support and muscle‑support ingredients. If you want something that’s gentle on digestion and easy to add into my routine. So far I feel an improvement in my joints and skin, I would consider this an effective supplement.

So far seems good.
So far I am liking this supplement. It has a good mix of ingredients and is much more pleasant than taking them individually. I like the taste of it, though that is always personal preference. It mixes pretty well in water. I use a shaker ball for all my powder mixes, but this was starting to mix decently on its own. There were some clumps that may have taken more work without the shaker ball, but with it everything mixes up nicely. It is hard to really judge a supplement objectively without long term in a controlled environment. I think that this product is beneficial so far, and will continue to take it to for now.We’ve used several Codeage products and been happy with them. I picked this up alongside some other of their workout products and have used them together, so some of my opinion may be from the combination more than a single product. This is a bit more pricey than some options, but their quality has been good and that can help to justify a bit of a premium.
