I ordered this for my teenage sons who go to the gym multiple times a week. I’m always excited to try Codeage Brandt products that are released because it’s a brand I really trust. It’s really top-tier and quality in our book!Similar to their other products we found this to have a very good flavor! It is sweetened with Stevia so it’s just lightly sweet. Since it has that tart cherry attitude, it doesn’t really have any kind of aftertaste. The mango flavor is really good.So far they say this is helping them post work outs and that they would recommend it to others. If you’re trying to decide between two brands and one of them is Codeage, pick Codeage!

Restorative formula
This is a really nice formula for winding down and recovering after an evening workout, as it includes ingredients like aminos, electrolytes, and curcumin that will support muscle recovery, but also calming and stress-relieving ingredients like tart cherry, magnesium, and glycine. I have been using it after evening runs, and putting it in my water bottle to bring to hot yoga after work, and I think it helps me feel restored after my workout and helps me start slowing down and relaxing for a smoother transition to bed. It can be hard to get in an evening workout without disrupting sleep, but this formula has been a helpful addition.

Low amounts of key ingredients
I’m a bit surprised by this formulation because it doesn’t seem to be nearly as good at relieving workout muscle soreness as other combinations I’ve tried. I know that creatine and magnesium glycinate are key to relieving soreness for me, and I often use turmeric as well, but I’m wondering if the amounts of some of these ingredients, like the magnesium, is just too low to do any good. And I’m surprised that it doesn’t contain creatine at all, but creatine is easy to add if the rest of this formula were more effective for me.But with only 75 mg. magnesium, 3 g BCAAs, etc., this may just be too low dose compared to what I usually use.I’m also a bit disappointed on the taste. Its way too sweet to me. The picture is of it mixed at usual strength. I have to mix it at about half strength to make it palatable for me. But then I’m only getting half the benefit, so I have to drink twice as much, which is less fun.So I would not purchase this formula again, even though I am usually a fan of most CodeAge supplements and their quality testing.The canister I received in June 2026 expires in May 2029. The canister was about 2/3 full, but settling is normal in powders so I don’t mind the waste of plastic as much as I do with capsule bottles that are only 2/3 full.
