Intense Gut Reset
I ordered the Carlyle 7 Day Probiotic because my gut needed a reset. I have no underlying health issues but I do I have a sensitive and reactive gut.The probiotic comes in powder form in 7 individual packets. I mixed my packets with water and lemonade powder for taste. The taste by itself is not too bad but it’s definitely an interesting flavor. It did not mix well for me and was quite clumpy. The clumpiness was worse than the flavor to me. Maybe it would be better mixed with something thicker like soft foods or a smoothie.I only took the packets for 4 days. I feel like 7 days wouldve been too much for me. During the 4 days I had some increased gas, bloating, mild cramping and discomfort. I don’t know if there is a correlation, but I also noticed better mood, more energy, and less fatigue while taking the packets.It’s been a few days since I’ve finished and I have less bloating and trapped gas than before. My stomach is flatter. I feel more empty after bowel movements and bowel movements feel more complete.Overall, I would say I benefited from the probiotics, but it was more intense than I needed.

Convenient probiotic pack
So much of our health starts in our gut, so it is important to make sure our flora there is in good shape. Taking antibiotics for example can wipe out a lot of the good bacteria with the bad, and it can leave our digestive systems in disarray. Following a course of antibiotics with something like this can really help tip the scales back in the right direction though and that is when I would recommend an intensive care course such as this.The packets themselves make taking it pretty easy. There isn’t really much of a taste, but there is a bit of a texture that can be offputting to some. I tried at first mixing with water and I honestly had a hard time getting it down that way. The next time, I mixed it into my protein shake, and that was much easier for me so I’d recommend mixing it into a thicker beverage such as that or a smoothie or maybe even a milkshake or yogurt possibly. I don’t recommend drinking it with just plain water or a water like beverage, as it doesn’t blend the best into that. It needs some consistency to make it less noticeable.That being said, the benefits far outweigh any negative aspect, and it was an easy enough thing to work around since I have a protein shake daily anyway already.

Great to jump start gut recovery.
We have been traveling a lot lately and I had been feeling a little off. Not just run down but off and I knew I hadn’t been eating as well as when I am home so thought I would try this 7 day intensive probiotic to see if it would help me feel more normal. Upon opening the first packet I noticed a slight smell. Nothing terrible, just there. I followed the instructions and mixed it in water. It is a little difficult to really get it mixed well. I had to smash some of the lumps on the side of the glass to get it dissolved. You know that smell I mentioned earlier? It also has a slight taste and I had a hard time getting the first packet down. That being said, the second day I mixed some pomegranate juice into my water and it did mix easier plus the taste was great. Every day after that I used the juice and water mixture and it was fine. This seems to be a very good product and by the 3rd or 4th day I noticed a real difference in the way I felt. Much more like myself with more pep and energy. By the 7th day I was my old self again. I would not use this every day but I think it is very beneficial for travelers feeling a bit off or after taking a course of antibiotics. I really don’t like taking pills and this offers another way to get an intense load of good bacteria. The cost is reasonable and the product is good.

The strains listed are common probiotic genera used in supplements and fermented foods, including both probiotics + prebiotic fiber (FOS) is common and can help bacterial growth. “200 billion CFU” sounds impressive, but higher CFU does not automatically mean better results. “29 strains” also sounds impressive, but many probiotic effects are strain-specific. What matters is clinical evidence for exact strains and doses, not just the count. “Supports immune wellness” is a standard supplement claim with limited specificity.Overall, I think the dosage is too high and there is little need for consuming high concentration of probiotics intensively for 7 days. You always have the option to get the regular ones for cheaper and eat more. Generally, it is safe to consume for healthy adult. Please seek recommended by health professionals.
